Tank007 CI05 5 W Ultraviolet Rechargeable LED Torch (365 nm)

The Tank007 CI05 is an ultraviolet torch that delivers UV light with a wavelength of 365 nm from a 5 W LED, and features a stylish purple bezel to easily identify your UV torch from your regular torch.

Unlike other UV torches, the CI05 offers a uniform beam of light with no central hotspot, which provides an even light coverage. The beam diameter is 15 cm at a distance of 30 cm, 25 cm at a distance of 50 cm and 50 cm at a distance of 1 m.

Included is a Xtar 18650 lithium-ion battery which charges inside the torch via the USB-C charging port for faster charging. With the torch off, remove the dust cover from the USB-C port located on the neck of the torch, and plug the included cable into the torch one end and the other end into a USB power source.

The LED charging indicator next to the port will go red to indicate charging is in progress and will turn green once charging is complete. Once the charging cable has been removed, remember to insert the dust cover properly and check the tail cap is tight to ensure the IPX7 rating is maintained. The LED indicator will also flash once the battery level drops below 20% to remind you to charge the battery.

The torch turns on and off with the rubberised tail cap for easy one handed operation. A black filter absorbs 99% of visible light but provides high transmission in the UV wavelength of light that is designed to target the 365 nm wavelength this torch provides.

Constructed of tough T6061 aluminium it is drop resistant up to 1.5 metres and is waterproof to IPX7 rating.
