The Xtar AA USB-C rechargeable lithium-ion 1.5 V 2450 mAh protected battery is great for daily use, replacing standard AAs. With approximately 50% increase in energy and 60 minutes longer run-time than NiMH batteries, they are a durable and reliable alternative battery.
Perfect for a range of devices at home like torches, game controllers, shavers, smart door locks, TV remotes and kids' toys.
With fast USB-C charging ports built into the top of the batteries, they take around 2.7 hours to reach full capacity. The LED flashes green while charging and turns solid green once charging is finished. A four way split cable is included with a single standard USB-A port at one end and four USB-C cables at the other so that they can all be conveniently charged from one USB power source (5 V, 2A or higher recommended).
Unlike NiMH batteries, the Xtar AA USB-C lithium-ion batteries maintain a constant power of 1.5 V 2 A, until right near depletion, at which point a low voltage detection reduces voltage to 1.1V, preventing abrupt device shutdowns and giving you time to charge up or swap out the batteries without any sudden interruptions.
Capable of more than 1200 recharge cycles, the AA lithium-ion batteries are cost effective whilst also being more environmentally friendly than disposable AA batteries.
It's electronically safeguarded from overcharge, over-discharge, over temperature and short circuit.
