The Nitecore CARBO 20000 is super compact and is currently the world's lightest 20000 mAh capacity power bank, which is useful for activities such as hiking where the weight load is important, but is equally great for long weekends away from home, or the commuter who relies on a good power source.
The body design is a unibody shell construction made from carbon fibre reinforced polymer, which provides extra strength and protection against impact and up to 200% more pressure resistance than conventional power banks as it is made as one piece. The power bank has multiple safeguards such as overcurrent, short circuit, over-discharge, over charge, over voltage and thermal protection.
It is perfect for charging a range of devices such as torches, mobile phones, tablets, portable game consoles and thanks to the low current charging mode which it is perfect for charging wearables such as wireless head phones and smart watches. External devices are easily and conveniently charged via either the 18 W standard USB-A QC (quick charge) port or the 20 W USB-C PD (power delivery) port that both has an output of up to 3 A.
To access the low current charging mode, simply hold the mode button and a white LED indicator will turn on to show low current mode has been accessed. Once you have charged your device on low current mode it is recommended to exit this mode by pressing the mode button and the white light turns off.
As well as an output, the USB-C PD port is also a 18 W input port for charging of the power bank itself using the included USB-A to USB-C cable. When connected to a USB power source the four blue LED charging indicators will flash in turn as it charges up, and all four lights will be solid blue once the CARBO 20000 is fully charged. While being charged via the USB-C input the CARBO 20000 can also still charge external devices at the same time via the USB-A port, however this will prolong the charging time of the power bank.
The mode button will also display the power status with a single press, so you always know how much power you have left when not in use, or while being discharged. Four lights is 100%, three lights is 75%, two lights is 50%, one light is 25% and one light flashing means the battery is near depletion and requires charging as soon as possible.
With a IPX5 rating, the CARBO 20000 is ready to accompany you on your adventures with rain or shine, making it a reliable and durable power source whether you're trail running, camping or commuting. The NB20000 is airline approved with a rated capacity of less than 100 Wh, which makes it the perfect compact travel companion for charging devices on the move.
Please Note: When the temperature of the CARBO 20000 is too high, it will automatically regulate it's output and may cease charging while it cools, to maintain the optimal performance and prolong the lifespan of the battery.
