Fenix HP12R-T Rechargeable LED Head Torch

The Fenix HP12R-T is a rechargeable head torch designed for trail running and outdoor adventure, delivering up to 1300 lumens output with a beam range of 200 metres. With cool white, neutral white, and red light options, it adapts to a wide range of conditions from night running to mountaineering.

The dual white LEDs (spotlight and neutral white flood) can be used individually or combined, providing versatile lighting with natural colour rendering. Two central red LEDs offer constant, flashing, or SOS modes, which is useful for preserving night vision or activities such as astronomy, animal spotting and emergency signalling.

Controlling the torch is simple with two top mounted switches. One operates the cool white LED, while the other one is for the neutral white LED, and direct access to red is achieved by double-clicking either switch. A lockout mode prevents accidental activation, while a rear battery case red light adds extra safety visibility.

Power comes from the included 4000 mAh 18650 lithium-ion battery housed in the rear case, which is rechargeable via USB-C in around 3.5 hours. Two CR123A lithium metal batteries can also be used as an alternative. A built-in battery level indicator ensures you always know your charge status, and the headlamp can operate while charging.

For reliability, the HP12R-T includes intelligent overheat and low-voltage protection to manage output and preserve runtime. Built for endurance, it is waterproof to IP68 standards, drop tested to 2 metres, and supplied with a comfortable, reflective headband designed for stability during fast movement.

Note: *The Turbo output is measured in total run-time including output at reduced levels due to temperature or protection mechanism in the design.

Tested in laboratory conditions to ANSI/PLATO FL1 standard using the included Fenix ARB-L18-4000 lithium ion rechargeable battery under the temperature of 21±3°C and humidity of 50% - 80%. Results may vary between torch, battery and environments.
