Nitecore HA23 UHE LED Head Torch

The Nitecore HA23 is a lightweight head torch, perfect for a wide variety of activities.

It offers warm white, cool white and neutral white light from the multiple colour temperature (MCT) UHE LEDs, with a maximum output of 600 lumens. There is also an auxiliary red LED offering high, low and flashing outputs, as well as SOS and beacon modes from the neutral white primary LED.

Dual power options means it can use either 3 x AAA batteries (alkaline or NiMH) or the Nitecore HLB1500 lithium-ion battery pack (sold separately) can be used to provide longer run-times.

Two buttons are located on top, a power button which turns the light on/off and controls the brightness levels of the various LEDs, and a mode button which changes between the white light colour temperatures, gives direct access to red and enters the special modes. A lockout function prevents accidental activation of the light when not in use, and can be done be simultaneously holding both buttons for 2 seconds until the light flashes 3 times. To exit lockout hold the buttons down again and the light will come on in neutral white ultra-low.

The headband is comfortable and adjustable with a hollow design for breathability, a silicone strip to channel away sweat and a reflective design for safety and enhanced visibility. Additionally the HA23 UHE comes with a multi-purpose clip for mounting the light to a cap or bag strap, and a diffusing stuff sack to either store when not in use, or to create a camping lantern.
