Nitecore MT2A Pro LED Torch

The Nitecore MT2A Pro is part of the Multi-Task series of lights, which offer incredible performance. The MT2A Pro features a 1000 lumen output, an upgrade of 190% compared to the previous generation.

The MT2A Pro utilises a UHi LED which offers ultra high light density and high beam intesity. Useful design features include a removable and reversible pocket clip, anti-roll head, and tail stand capability for use as a candle.

The MT2A Pro is powered by the included NL1614R 1600 mAh lithium-ion battery, which is charged outside the torch via the USB-C port. Alternatively the MT2A Pro can be powered by two AA alkaline primary cells or two AA NiMH rechargeable cells for back up power or emergencies. Please note that the high output is not available when using the AA battery cells.

To turn the torch on or off simply press the user friendly tail switch, each half press after the light is turned on will cycle through the low, medium and high outputs.

Operational Modes

Using the NL1416R lithium-ion battery:
High: 1000 lumens; 1 hour, 30 minutes run-time; 255 m beam range
Mid: 300 lumens; 2 hours, 45 minutes run-time; 148 m beam range
Low: 50 lumens; 20 hours run-time; 58 m beam range

Using 2 x AA batteries:
Mid: 500 lumens; 2 hours run-time; 188 m beam range
Low: 60 lumens; 11 hours run-time; 68 m beam range

Note: Accurate ANSI performance numbers indicate real world light output and run times when using one 1600 mAh 14100 lithium-ion battery. The data is approximate and may vary between torches, batteries and environments.
