The Nitecore NL2160HP is a premium quality 21700, 6000 mAh lithium-ion battery that has a continuous discharge current of 20 A, and is specifically designed for use with high discharge devices.

As with all Nitecore batteries safety is paramount and the NL2160HP cell has a range of internal features to keep you, your devices and chargers as safe as possible. The 21700 battery has an innovative anode design with high temperature resistance, built-in PTC to inhibit high current surges, pressure relief valve which activates in the event of a rapid temperature increase and a microporous barrier that protects the delicate internal components. Externally, the cell is equipped with nickel-plated stainless steel protectors at both ends and is coated with a durable metallic film to guard against abrasion.

The 21700 is compatible with the following Nitecore chargers: UMS2, UMS4, Ci2 and Ci4.

Great torch for work!

I was given a much bigger torch at work which I always struggled to place. This one is so small and light and has three different lights so each colour is perfect.

I'd had a few head torches and needed a new one for dog walking and running possibly camping. I didn't need anything crazy expensive but it to be bright, last a few hours, be comfortable and water resistant. Which this one is. So great head torch, i like that you can change the colour of the light and that its compact, fitting easily in a jacket pocket. Though if you have a big head maybe get the headband option rather then the elasticated string which i've found leaves lines in my forehead.

Clever, effective, little heavy.

For working, camping etc this does it all. The range of brightness covers all your needs from close up to long distance. The red light is great for keeping your night vision and its as waterproof as you need unless you're diving!

The only downside is that its a little heavy, so it needs to have the top strap on for long term comfort or have it over a hat. But to have this performance and burn time this is very acceptable.

Excellent heavy duty torch

I bought the Ledlenser P21R during a 30% discount sale, and it’s a brilliant torch. Excellent build quality and performance, even at lower power. The 2000 and 5000 lumen settings are amazing, with runtimes that are hard to beat. The only downside is the 12,000 turbo, which is rather underwhelming - there is not much of a visible difference when switching from 5000 to 12,000. But max output is not why I bought this torch. The great build quality and solid performance at 2-5k is worth every penny. The P21R is a work of art!

Great for dog walking

I found that when out walking my dog, a large torch was a bit of a hindrance. Having bought a Fenix torch from Torch Direct before, I decided to check for a small torch with a good beam and came across this torch. The torch provided ample light for my needs and can be carried easily in my pocket.
