The Mini Maglite 2-Cell AA PRO LED torch is the step up of the standard Mini Maglite 2-Cell AA torch, offering 332 lumens output from a single white LED.

Built tough enough to last a lifetime, its water resistant to IPX4 standard and drop resistant to 1 metre.

Operation is simple, a twist of the head turns the torch on in high, and a second quick twist after the first changes to low. Twist the head back down to turn it off or focus the beam by loosening it.

A perfect little torch to stow in your glove box, or kept handy in a handbag or briefcase.

Great torch but no eco mode

The torch beam is intensely right and I mean very intense don’t look directly into it, it also gets very warm after a while but not as hot as you would expect, the throw is excellent but there is no Eco mode so you can dim it down. It’s full beam or nothing which is a bit of a shame, all in all buying from Torch direct easy and fast I just wish the torch had had a mode where you could use it for longer, there is a variant I believe of this particular brightness that does do that. Also the box falls apart really quickly. The hinge is absolutely useless so a blister pack would be just as good in fact may be better because you can’t really use the case it comes in. I’ll be looking out for one with eco mode but if you want a bright torch that gives you good colour, a good throw and is made you can’t really go wrong with this Mini Maglite.

I'm very happy with this device. Initially I thought the slider mechanism felt a bit flimsy, but I have now worked through my stock of old batteries and everything works well. A bonus for me is that it will also test button cells, which my previous tested did not. Overall, a good piece of kit at a good price.

Amazing little torch

Even through I’d check the dimensions the torch was much smaller than I expected when it arrived. It feels great in hand, very robust and machined to a high standard. Various modes to choose from and when on high it is amazing how much light this tiny torch produces. Run time seems fine so far also. If in doubt, buy it and you won’t regret. As a side note, Torch Direct…. Quick and efficient service. Full marks :)
