Fenix PD35R ACE Tactical LED Torch

The PD35R ACE features an innovative SET mode design which provides three lighting options and a customisable strobe mode, with a compact and durable design the PD35R ACE is perfect for outdoor and tactical use.

Utilising a Luminus SFT40 LED it offers a maximum output of 2000 lumens on turbo and provides an incredible max beam throw of up to 380 metres.

Featuring three switches, the PD35R ACE can access a choice of five brightness levels, plus strobe and SOS mode. The torch is turned on and off with the tactical tail switch (round button) by fully pressing it down, and it also offers a momentary function by half pressing the button (the light will turn off when the button is released). Once the torch is on, the switch located on the neck of the torch will cycle through the various brightness settings with each press. The hidden SET switch is located by loosening the neck collar and allows you to select the operation mode and control strobe on / off settings.

Strobe mode is activated by holding the neck-mounted external switch for 0.5 seconds when the torch is turned on and a single press will allow you to switch to SOS mode, press and hold the button again for 0.5 seconds to return the torch to the previously used lighting option and brightness setting. With the light turned on, press and hold the SET switch for 1.2 seconds to turn on/off the Strobe mode in all options. The flashlight will blink twice to confirm the selection. For convenience, your last used brightness level is remembered next time you switch on the light.

The included Fenix 18650 4000 mAh Li-ion battery is charged inside the torch with the supplied USB-C cable. The charge port is located on the neck of the torch, and  to access it you must loosen the neck collar of the torch. The LED indicator will display red while charging and will turn green when fully charged. Supporting fast charging the torch can be fully charged from empty in just 3 hours and conveniently allows for use whilst charging. Once charging is completed, be sure to unplug the charging cable and tighten the neck collar to ensure normal use.

A built-in battery indicator is located next to the charging port, which displays the battery status for 3 seconds every time the torch is turned on when using the included battery. A solid green light indicates saturated, flashing green is sufficient, solid red is poor and flashing red is critical. The battery indicator also acts as a low voltage warning light while the torch is in use. Please note these features only apply when using the included battery (Fenix ARB-L18 Series).

The overheat protection will automatically reduce the turbo or high lumen output if the temperature of the torch reaches 60°C or above in order to protect the LED from overheating. This will last until the torch drops below 60°C after which the turbo and high modes will be selectable again.

When using the included battery, if the battery voltage drops below 3 V the torch is programmed to downshift to a lower brightness level until eco output is reached, at which point the light will flash 3 times every 5 minutes to remind you to charge the battery.

The clip allows easy attachment to a pocket, clothing or backpack and the included holster and lanyard make carrying the PD35R ACE easy.

Note: *The turbo mode is measured at total run-time including any reduced output levels due to the temperature regulation design.

Tested in laboratory conditions to ANSI/PLATO FL1 standard using 1 x Fenix 4000 mAh 18650 Li-ion rechargeable battery under the temperature of 21±3°C and humidity of 50% - 80%. Results may vary between torch, battery and environments.
