The Coast XP9R is a high-performance, rechargeable torch delivering up to 1500 lumens with a beam range of 262 metres form the 40 second turbo burst. With five lighting modes it’s built for users who need powerful, adaptable light for work, travel, and outdoor use.

The XP9R features dual power capability, running on the included Coast Zithion-X USB-C rechargeable 18650 battery, or on two CR123A lithium batteries as a backup when you’re away from a charging source.

The Zithion-X battery can be recharged outside the torch via its built-in USB-C port using the supplied cable, with an LED indicator showing red while charging and green when complete. For added flexibility, the battery can also be charged inside the torch using Coast’s hidden Pro-Tek charging port. The port is accessed by twisting the upper section of the tail cap above the red line, while the full tail cap unscrews below the red line when you need to swap batteries.

Operation is controlled through the tactical tail switch. A half press cycles through Mid, High, Low and Moon Glow while pressing and holding activates Turbo which delivers a 40 second burst of maximum brightness. After a few seconds of inactivity when off, the light resets to Mid mode next time it is turned on, for a balanced default output.

Using Coast’s Pure Beam Focusing Optic System, the XP9R transitions seamlessly between an ultra-wide flood beam and a tightly focused spot beam with no dark patches. The focusing head can be locked into place for consistent beam positioning during use.

Dust and water resistant to IP54 standards, the XP9R is durable, dependable, and designed to perform in demanding outdoor conditions.

High: 600 lumens; 4 hours run-time; 165 m beam range
Mid: 210 lumens; 7 hours, 15 minutes run-time; 98 m beam range

Moon Glow: 17 lumens; 82 hours run-time; 26 m beam range

Small, powerful and robust.

The Ledlenser ML6 is a small compact unit, well built and very bright for its size. I can corroborate unlike some other lanterns it does not dazzle due to the lens design. Battery life on lower settings lasts ages, reasonable on higher settings. Personally I like the warm light version, but you may prefer the white light if you need to carry out detailed work. Lots of functionality including seamless brightness settings from low to high, red and red flashing, sos and much more. Fairly pricy, but you do get what you pay for in terms of build quality. Torch Direct, efficient and prompt as ever, wonderful service keep it up. I highly recommend this firm, I have had zero problems even when I had an item fail they replaced it no quibble 9 months on.
