The Coast XP6R is a compact, rechargeable torch delivering powerful performance with a maximum output of 500 lumens and a beam range of up to 180 metres. Designed for versatile everyday use, it’s ideal for professionals and outdoor enthusiasts who need dependable, portable lighting.

Powered by the included Coast Zithion-X USB-C rechargeable 16340 lithium-ion battery, the XP6R also features dual power capability, allowing it to run on a CR123A lithium battery as a backup, which is perfect for when you’re off-grid or away from a charging source.

The Zithion-X battery includes a built-in USB-C charging port, enabling convenient recharging outside of the torch via the supplied cable. An LED indicator glows red while charging and turns green once fully charged.

Operation is simple with the tactical tail switch. Half press cycles through mid, high, and low modes, or modes can be changed with quick full presses.

Equipped with Coast’s Pure Beam Focusing Optic System, the XP6R smoothly transitions from a wide flood beam to a focused spot beam, providing consistent, high-quality illumination with no dark spots.

Dust and water resistant to IP54 standards and built from durable anodised aluminium, the XP6R is engineered for reliability in demanding conditions, making it a solid choice for work, travel, and outdoor adventures.

Using the Zithion-X battery:
High: 500 lumens; 2 hours, 30 minutes run-time; 180 m beam range
Mid: 220 lumens; 6 hours, 45 minutes run-time; 119 m beam range
Low: 61 lumens; 16 hours run-time; 62 m beam range

I love the maglite solitaire LED it is brilliant. The battery lasts a very long time. Candle mode is fantastic it will light up an entire room. I love the fact that it runs off a AAA because it’s so easy to find. I have been keeping it in my pocket. Which is impossible considering that women’s pockets are so small. The size is perfect it’s big enough that it is easy to use but small enough so that you will actually carry around with you. The twist cap means it doesn’t turn on accidentally. Truly an essential tool. Highly recommended.

Best Light

A really amazing headtorch. Lots of settings for various purposes. 1600 whopping lumens to find that style across the field and 130 is ample on good trails. Only needs a recharge once a week across 4-5 dark training runs. Will easily do 3 consequtive night runs.
Very comfortable though best worn over a hat or bandana. Love the cable rechargable spare battery option also.

Small, powerful and robust.

The Ledlenser ML6 is a small compact unit, well built and very bright for its size. I can corroborate unlike some other lanterns it does not dazzle due to the lens design. Battery life on lower settings lasts ages, reasonable on higher settings. Personally I like the warm light version, but you may prefer the white light if you need to carry out detailed work. Lots of functionality including seamless brightness settings from low to high, red and red flashing, sos and much more. Fairly pricy, but you do get what you pay for in terms of build quality. Torch Direct, efficient and prompt as ever, wonderful service keep it up. I highly recommend this firm, I have had zero problems even when I had an item fail they replaced it no quibble 9 months on.
