Coast XP20R Rechargeable LED Torch

The Coast XP20R is a high performance rechargeable torch offering five brightness levels, with 2300 lumens output on the highest constant setting and a maximum of 4000 lumens output with the momentary 40 seconds turbo burst.

Powered by Coast’s Dual Power system, the XP20R can run on the included ZX955 Zithion-X™ rechargeable lithium-ion battery for maximum output, or on three AAA alkaline batteries using the supplied cartridge for back up power.

The rechargeable battery can be charged directly via its built-in USB-C port, or through the USB-C input charging port on the neck of the torch. A USB-C output port also allows the XP20R to double as a power bank, charging external devices when needed.

Operation is via a side switch, cycling through mid, high, low, and moon glow modes. Turbo mode is activated by holding the button for one second in any state, running for 40 seconds before automatically reverting to the previous mode. Four battery indicators above the switch display remaining power at a glance.

The XP20R uses Coast’s Pure Beam Focusing Optic System, with the head sliding smoothly between flood and spot beams. The focus can also be locked in place by twisting the head for consistent use.

At 190 mm long, the XP20R is dust and water resistant to IP54 standards and built from anodised aluminium for durability. Designed for heavy duty use, it provides the power and versatility needed for both professional and outdoor applications.

Small, powerful and robust.

The Ledlenser ML6 is a small compact unit, well built and very bright for its size. I can corroborate unlike some other lanterns it does not dazzle due to the lens design. Battery life on lower settings lasts ages, reasonable on higher settings. Personally I like the warm light version, but you may prefer the white light if you need to carry out detailed work. Lots of functionality including seamless brightness settings from low to high, red and red flashing, sos and much more. Fairly pricy, but you do get what you pay for in terms of build quality. Torch Direct, efficient and prompt as ever, wonderful service keep it up. I highly recommend this firm, I have had zero problems even when I had an item fail they replaced it no quibble 9 months on.
