I'd had a few head torches and needed a new one for dog walking and running possibly camping. I didn't need anything crazy expensive but it to be bright, last a few hours, be comfortable and water resistant. Which this one is. So great head torch, i like that you can change the colour of the light and that its compact, fitting easily in a jacket pocket. Though if you have a big head maybe get the headband option rather then the elasticated string which i've found leaves lines in my forehead.
For working, camping etc this does it all. The range of brightness covers all your needs from close up to long distance. The red light is great for keeping your night vision and its as waterproof as you need unless you're diving!
The only downside is that its a little heavy, so it needs to have the top strap on for long term comfort or have it over a hat. But to have this performance and burn time this is very acceptable.
I bought the Ledlenser P21R during a 30% discount sale, and it’s a brilliant torch. Excellent build quality and performance, even at lower power. The 2000 and 5000 lumen settings are amazing, with runtimes that are hard to beat. The only downside is the 12,000 turbo, which is rather underwhelming - there is not much of a visible difference when switching from 5000 to 12,000. But max output is not why I bought this torch. The great build quality and solid performance at 2-5k is worth every penny. The P21R is a work of art!
I found that when out walking my dog, a large torch was a bit of a hindrance. Having bought a Fenix torch from Torch Direct before, I decided to check for a small torch with a good beam and came across this torch. The torch provided ample light for my needs and can be carried easily in my pocket.
I bought this headlight for my son as I already have the one and he is delighted with it as I am with mine.The quality of these sells themselves and I bought mine because someone gave me a torch made by this manuacturer and the batteries last for years.
Excellent piece of kit rugged robust fits great in the hand the ability to change beams simple system and effective the strobe setting an excellent deterrent should you need it

I was looking for a quality waterproof LED light to take camping and to use when walking winter nights. This metal light fits comfortably in my hand and pockets. Apart from white light controlled by a thumb operated dial switch, a double click on the button will activate red light or UV - both of whose brightness then controlled via the same dial. Clockwise for brighter, anti clockwise dimmer. Also a flashing red light ideal for using while walking in the dark. There is also a strobe light though I’m not sure if I would ever use this. Battery life is good and recharging via USB-C connector. Comes with handy canvas holder that will strap to the belt and a wrist lanyard.
