The latest generation in the TIP series is the TIP SE, which retains popular features such as the robust multi-purpose clip, momentary / constant-on modes and ultralow standby power draw (<5uA), which allows it to be in standby for up to 1 year.
In addition to this it now has two emitters for a higher maximum output of 700 lumens from two OSRAM P8 LEDs, which is an incredible output from the same sized compact body, and utilises a USB Type-C charging port for easy and fast charging.
A dual interface switch comprises of a power button and a mode button and the TIP SE also features either daily mode or demo mode. When in demo mode the light will only activate for 30 seconds if untouched, which is useful if you are quickly using the light to open a door or accidentally turn the light on without knowing. If you press the button again within 3 seconds of the light going out, the light will then stay on until you turn the light off as a one off.
When in daily mode the light will stay on until you press the power button to turn the light off. To switch between daily and demo mode, simply hold both the power and mode buttons down at the same time until the light flashes once to indicate demo mode or twice to indicate daily mode.
The power button turns the tip on/off with a single press, and once on the mode button will cycle through low, mid and high with each press. The memory function will recall the last used output next time the torch is turned on with a single press of the power button.
The power button also provides direct access to the low setting by holding the button down with the light off for 0.6 seconds and releasing, or momentary access to low by holding the button from off for over 2 seconds, and the light will go off when the button is released. The mode button gives access direct access to the turbo setting by holding the button down with the light off for 0.6 seconds and releasing, or momentary access to low by holding the button down in any state, and the light will go off or return to the previous brightness when the button is released.
The integrated power indicators in the switch will display the battery power when the mode button is pressed once with the light turned off. Three flashes indicates +50% power, two flashes indicates below 50% power and one flash indicates the power is below 10%. The red indicators will flash while the light is in use if the power level is low.
It is powered by a built-in 500 mAh lithium-ion rechargeable battery which is recharged via the USB Type-C charging port located on the side of the torch. Remove the pocket clip, if attached, and plug in a USB Type-C cable (not included) at one end and plug the other end into a USB port or a compatible USB adaptor. The charging indicator light on the switch will go red while charging is in progress and turn green once charging is complete after approximately 1 hour, 30 minutes.
A battery protection circuit is incorporated that provides over-discharge, over-charge and anti short circuiting protection, as well as termination of charging upon completion.
A multi-purpose clip can be fitted on the front to cover both buttons to prevent accidental activation, and it also covers the USB-C port whether fitted to the front or back to prevent any damage and protect against water and dust ingress. The clip also aids in clothing attachment when attached to the back so that the TIP SE can easily be worn on the peak of a cap for hands free use, a back pack or attached to a pocket.
The integrated advance temperature regulation (ATR) technology regulates the output of the TIP SE according to the working condition and ambient environment to maintain the optimal performance, and it will regulate it's output to avoid overheating and prolong it's lifespan when accessing the turbo mode for over 30 seconds.

Great little torch , I'm in security and I usually clip it with my badge on my lanyard, more than bright enough just on medium power for most lightups, well built, supercompact to attach anywhere or slip into the smallest pocket, you can buy much cheaper micro torches but you get what you pay for.
Prompt service. Difficult to believe something so small could produce so much light - Excellent.
Best lumens to size ratio at a sensible price. It now lives discretely in my handbag so is always to hand but I still cannot get over how such a tiny little thing can generate such a super brightness?
