Nitecore SRT7i Rechargeable LED Torch

£116.94

The Nitecore SRT7i is a high performance rechargeable torch with a maximum output of 3000 lumens which utilises the 4th generation smart selector ring, now on the tail of the torch for easy operation.

Designed for tactical applications, the SRT7i features a crenelated strike bezel that has strengthened tips with hard silicon nitride ceramics to enable excellent glass breaking performance, randomly changing frequency strobe to disorient potential attackers and the Strobe Ready™ button interface that has a strobe ready pedal design inset into the tail cap.

The SRT7i is also a rechargeable unit that uses a USB-C charging port for faster and efficient charging. The included Nitecore NL2150HPi battery is a patented i series battery that has a high discharge current of 15 A in order to be able to access the high output and a regular 21700 battery is not compatible with the SRT7i.

Two CR123A lithium metal non-rechargeable batteries or two RCR123A lithium-ion rechargeable batteries can also be used in the torch with a CR123A carrier, however these cannot be recharged inside the torch and only a lower turbo output is possible. Never attempt to charge CR123A lithium metal batteries.

With the included NL2150HPi battery inserted into the torch, ensure that the head and tail cap are tightly screwed on before lifting the dust cover to reveal the USB-C port, that is located on the head of the torch. Plug the included cable into the USB-C charging port, and the USB-A end into a suitable USB power source. The charging indicator light will slowly flash while charging is in progress and turn solid when charging is complete. A full charge takes approximately 3 hours, 15 minutes when charging the included battery with a 5 V, 2 A output.

The indicator will show the remaining battery power while the torch is on, and will begin to flash once every 2 seconds when the power level drops to 50%, and when the battery level is nearly depleted the power indicator will flash rapidly to notify the user that the battery should be charged as soon as possible.

Three brightness levels as well as strobe are available and can be accessed in multiple ways with the dual tail switch and 4th generation selector ring combination. The selector ring can be rotated to choose the brightness level or mode, starting from the lockout at the far left with a padlock symbol to indicate the torch is locked from all operation. Rotate the selector ring anticlockwise to cycle through Ultralow, low, turbo and TAC mode. The SRT7i also features a lockout mode to prevent accidental activation which can be accessed on the selector ring.

In brightness levels 1-3 the light can be accessed constantly or momentarily and the circular power button turns the torch on/off with a full click, or half pressing the button will provide momentary illumination until the button is released. In TAC mode only momentary operation is available with a half press and hold of the power button to access momentary low mode, or a full press and hold of the power button to momentarily access the turbo mode, and the light will go out when the button is released. Turbo can also be directly accessed from off, or in brightness levels 1 and 2 by half pressing and holding the mode button for momentary operation, and it will revert to the previous setting when released.

With the light off the strobe can be instantly accessed for momentary operation by fully holding down the Strobe Ready™ mode button and will turn off when the button is released. Strobe can be constantly accessed when the light is on in brightness levels 1-3 with a full press of the Strobe Ready™ mode button and will revert back to the last used setting with a single press mode button or the light can be turned off with the power button.

An all new pocket clip design is included, and slides over the end of the torch (when the tail cap is unscrewed) into the slot design to keep it firmly in place once the tail cap is screwed back down in order to avoid movement for secure mounting. Also included is a nylon holster and a lanyard for easy carrying.

The integrated advance temperature regulation (ATR) technology regulates the output of the SRT7i according to the working condition and ambient environment to maintain the optimal performance.

Product Features

Selector ring and dual switch tail cap design
Strike bezel with strengthened silicon nitride ceramic tips
Strobe ready™ button for quick access to strobe mode
Optical lenses with double sided anti-scratch coating

Operational Modes

Turbo: 3000 lumens; 3 hours, 15 minutes run-time; 580 m beam range*
Low: 100 lumens; 110 m beam range
Ultralow: 0.1 lumens; 800 hours run-time; 5 m beam range
Strobe: 3000 lumens

Note: *Tested without temperature regulation active. As this is a high drain device, the temperature regulation may lower the output to reduce the temperature of the torch when used in the turbo mode for prolonged periods due to the heat generated.

Tested to ANSI/PLATO FL1-2019 standards in laboratory conditions using the included NL2150HPi 5000 mAh 21700 lithium-ion battery. The data may vary slightly in real world use depending on battery type, individual usage habits and environmental factors.

Best Nitecore I have owned

Like the twist control good size battery life so so maybe because it is new needs a couple of charges. Came into it’s own used in theatre for crewing that is wear twist control came into its own as require low light level when checking things out during production

Great torch with a strong build. The adjustable brightness from 0-Max is great. Full power gives off a very bright light. Note that the beam width is not adjustable which would have been nice so you get a wide beam with a very bright hot spot. If you want a precision beam try the P series. Otherwise brilliant
