The Nitecore NC10000 is a lightweight and compact power bank relative to it's huge 10000 mAh capacity, and also features a dual LED output of 50 lumens to provide emergency lighting, which is one of the features of the highlands design.
Designed with high altitudes in mind, the NC10000 is equipped with 21700 li-ion batteries as the power source that can withstand low air pressure thanks to the cylindrical design. Weighing just under 170 g you'll barely notice it in a pocket or backpack on those remote journeys.
To operate the 50 lumen light, press and hold the mode button on top for 3 seconds to turn the light on and off. With a fully charged power bank the light can run for up to 30 hours, 50 minutes, but this run-time will be affected if the powerbank is used to charge external devices.
It is perfect for charging a range of devices such as torches, mobile phones, tablets and portable game consoles. It also features an automatic low current charging mode which is useful for charging wearables such as wireless head phones and smart watches. External devices are easily and conveniently charged via the 20 W USB-C QC (quick charge) / PD (power delivery) port that has an output of up to 3 A.
As well as an output, the USB-C port is also an 18 W input for charging of the power bank itself using a USB-C cable (not included). When connected to a USB power source the blue LED charging indicators around the button will flash in turn as it charges up, and all four lights will be solid blue once the NC10000 is fully charged.
The four blue indicators will also display the power status with a single press of the mode button, so you always know how much power you have left when not in use, or while being discharged. Four lights is 100%, three lights is 75%, two lights is 50%, one light is 25% and one flashing light means the battery is near depletion and requires charging.
With a IPX5 rating, the NC10000 is ready to accompany you on your adventures with rain or shine, making it a reliable and durable power source whether you're trail running, camping or commuting. It is also airline approved with a rated capacity of less than 100 Wh, which makes it the perfect compact travel companion for charging devices on the move.
