Nitecore MT21C Angle Light LED Torch

The Nitecore MT21C utilises a Cree XP-L HD V6 LED and has a maximum output of 1000 lumens with 184 metres beam range.

As well as the standard hand held torch design, the MT21C also offers the option to be used as an angled work light. The top section of the head can be bent to a 90° angle, so that when the torch is attached to a pocket or belt with the included clip the lights shines forwards, which is useful for many professions or household tasks. The torch features a magnetic base so that it can easily be attached to a metal surfaces and also has a hanging hoop so that it can be suspended to provide a range of lighting options.

It is powered by a single 18650 lithium-ion rechargeable battery, two CR123A non rechargeable batteries or two RCR123 lithium-ion rechargeable batteries (not included). Multiple battery options are handy as you can have CR123A batteries as a back up if your rechargeable batteries run down and you aren't in a position to charge you batteries.

The side switch turns the torch on in ultra-low by holding the button down for 0.5 seconds and then each press after that cycles through ultra-low, low, mid, high and turbo. Hold the button down to turn the torch off again. Turbo can be acessed directly by holding the button for 1.5 seconds from off and releasing for constant turbo, or holding for 2.5 seconds to acess momentary turbo which will stay on until you release the button.

Special modes are accessed by quickly pressing the button three times in any state. the light will come on in strobe and each press will cycle through strobe, beacon and SOS.

A voltage power indicator blue light is built into the switch and will display the voltage each time the button is pressed with the torch off. The light will flash to show the voltage, for example if the voltage is 4.2 V the light will flash four times, pause and then flash two more times.

A holster, lanyard and stainless steel pocket clip are all included to provide you with a number of ways to carry your torch when not in use. The advanced temperature regulation module allows the MT21C to regulate its output and adapt to the ambient environment to maintain optimal performance.

The torch is compatible with the GM02 gun mount and the RSW1 pressure switch, which can be found under the product accessories tab.

Nitecore MT21C Angle Light LED Torch

Small but very powerful torch that can be carried in the pocket or in a belt in the canvas holster supplied. The head rotates so the torch can be used as a work light using the magnetic bas if necessary. The torch also has a pocket clip so can be clipped to a belt or garment for hands free use.

Illuminating Torch

Spent a lot of money on cheap torches over the years and finally came across Nitecore. Great torch, well built and very powerful. It was a gift to my wife who uses it to walk the dog in the evening. The angled head and sturdy clip allow it to be attached to her coat, point to the pavement and she is now able to look out for broken glass along the pavement. We also purchased the Nitecore UM10 - Single Bay Charging System and Nitecore 18650 Li-ion: Rechargeable 3500 mAh. The complete package was not cheap, but I am hoping this will pay for itself over the years. Overall very happy with the products and quick delivery from Torch Direct. Highly recommended company and products.

LED Gives Much More Light

I have the older incandescent-filament AAA-size Maglite and the new LED version is much more powerful, with a bright spread of light that reaches much further than the older filament type. Roughly speaking, this LED AAA torch gives about the same light as an older incandescent AA Maglite.
I recommend it very highly.
