The Nitecore HA25 UHE is a compact, lightweight head torch designed for practical everyday use, outdoor activities, and emergency situations where versatility and low weight matter.

It delivers a maximum output of 800 lumens on Turbo from six dual-core MCT UHE LEDs, providing three selectable colour temperatures to suit different environments. Warm white light is easier on the eyes in fog, rain or snow and works well for close-up tasks, neutral white offers balanced illumination for general use, and cool white provides brighter, crisper visibility when you need maximum clarity.

There is also an auxiliary red LED with high, low and flashing outputs, ideal for preserving night vision or low-profile use. SOS and Beacon modes are available from the primary neutral white light for emergency signalling.

Dual power options mean it can run on either the included Nitecore HLB1500 rechargeable battery pack for convenient rechargeable use, or 3 × AAA batteries (alkaline or NiMH) as a backup when charging isn’t available.

\Two buttons are located on top, with one controlling on/off and brightness, and the other switching between white colour temperatures, providing direct access to red, and entering special modes. A lockout function helps prevent accidental activation in a bag or pocket. Please refer to the manual download for full operating instructions.

The headband is comfortable and adjustable with a hollow design for breathability, a silicone strip to help prevent slipping and channel sweat, and reflective detailing for visibility. The HA25 UHE also includes a multi-purpose clip for attaching the light to a cap or bag strap, plus a diffusing stuff sack for storage or turning the head torch into a soft camping lantern.

Please Note: A USB-C charging cable is required to recharge the HLB1500 battery pack, but is not included with this item.

Impressive Build and Performance!

I'm no stranger to Maglites, and have owned around a dozen of them over the years. The older incandescent models have phenomenal build quality and such a timeless design, and did their job with just about enough brightness. This ML300L 4D is everything I've always loved about Maglites, but with far beyond sufficient luminous flux. Despite knowing it's 1002 lumens before turning it on, I was very impressed! It really is like turning night into day at the press of a button. While most brands have cut costs lately, if anything the build quality of this Maglite is slightly higher than older models when comparing side by side feel and finish. The switch feels great to use and the 3 brightness levels on the standard setting are just right. I can see myself using the "low" (middle setting) the most which gives up to 97 hours of battery life! For reference the "Eco" setting is about equivalent in lux (visual surface illumination) to the light from an incandescent D-cell maglite. For those curious, I estimate Low to be around 325 lm and Eco to be around 80 lm - truly unique settings - no gimmicks. Nice not having to replace bulbs either as the LED module is built to last even heavy/comercial users a lifetime. Definitely recommend!

Great torch

Great torch. I was looking for a single brightness torch in a small format and this fits the bill. It's just the right brightness for normal use and, although I don't need an intrinsically safe torch, the yellow colour does stand out when you put it down on a dark surface. The tail switch takes a bit of getting used to, as you have to press it in just the right way. Run time is good with the supplied AAA batteries.

Fantastic solidly built torch.

This torch is light as it's made out of aluminium but still feels solidly built.
Being able to access four different colour lights all at the touch off individual buttons is a great feature.
The only criticism I would make is that the buttons could do with offering more resistance to being pushed, as it is sometimes easy to turn on inside a bag and perhaps a clear lens over the front end would be a good idea to keep muck and grime out.
Other than that, it's a fantastic little torch which I’m sure will give years of service.
