Nitecore EDC25 Slim Rechargeable LED Torch

The EDC25 is an ultra slim and versatile high performance rechargeable torch with a maximum output of 3000 lumens from two NiteLab UHI 20 LED's.

The UHi 20 LED's offers a small but high-intensive core which offers long-range coverage and extreme brightness, ensuring the EDC25 is perfect for a range of tasks.

The EDC25 features a built-in optical sensor which detects obstructions and automatically reduces the output to 500 lumens to protect the torch from overheating. Once the obstruction is removed the torch will return to the previous output. This function is only available in the high, turbo and strobe outputs.

The left hand smaller power button on the tail cap of the EDC25 turns the torch on or off with a full press. The left green battery indicators and the right blue power indicators will illuminate for five seconds to show the remaining battery level and current output. The indicators need to be live in order to cycle through the outputs, half press to reactivate them. Half press again to cycle through the ultra-low, low, medium and high outputs. Thanks to the memory function the torch will turn on in the last used output. For instant momentary access the ultra-low output, half press and hold the power button while the torch is off. Release to turn the torch off.

The EDC25 features a turbo and strobe output which can be customised to best suit your needs. While the torch is off, press and hold the larger customisable button next to the power button, release to turn off. To cycle between the strobe and turbo outputs, press and hold the customisable button. While holding press the power button, each press will cycle between the two outputs. The selected output will be memorised for quick access. The power indicator will decrease to show the amount of time left in the output, the turbo and strobe outputs will decrease to the high output to prevent the torch from overheating.

To prevent accidental activation, the EDC25 has two lockout modes. The half lock is a half lockout mode which only allows access the the turbo and strobe outputs.  This mode is activated while the torch is on by holding down the power button until the red light above the indicators lights up once.

Full lockout is a full lockout mode and disables all output functions. It is accessed while the torch is on by holding down the power button until the red light above the indicators lights up once and then twice more. To unlock the light from either lockout modes, short then long press the power button.

The EDC25 is powered by a built-in 1700 mAh lithium-ion rechargeable battery which is recharged via the USB-C charging port located on the side of the torch. Remove the dust cover and plug in the included USB-C cable at one end and plug the other end into a compatible USB power source. The power indicator will blink slowly before turning solid to indicate a full charge after approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes. The torch can still be operated during charging, excluding the strobe and turbo outputs.

Remaining battery power is indicated while the torch is on, while off half press the tail button and the indicator will display (except when in lockout modes). Four indicators show 75-100%, three indicators show 50-75%, two indicators show 25-50% and one indicator shows 0-25% and the torch should be charged as soon as possible.

The advanced temperature regulation module allows the EDC25 to regulate its output and adapt to the ambient environment to maintain optimal performance.
