The Nitecore NL1832 is a rechargeable 18650 lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 3200 mAh, and replaces the Nitecore NL188 while still offering the same technical specifications.

The NL1832 has a range of safety features to ensure peace of mind when using and charging the battery. The internal safety features include a microporous barrier to protect internal components, pressure relief valve with activates in the event of rapid temperature increase, built-in PTC and an anode design with high temperature resistance. Externally, the battery has nickel plated stainless steel protectors at both ends, a tough plastic circuit board protector and a durable metallic film to prevent abrasion.

The NL1832 battery has a nominal voltage of 3.7 V and a recommended charging current of 1 A (maximum 2 A).

When charging or using ensure the positive and negative ends correspond with the positive (+) and negative (-) symbols
To extend battery life it is recommended that the battery be charged every three months when unused for long periods
Keep out of reach of children

Different sizes within the 18650 standard?

This didnt work out well for me, I wanted some high capacity 18650 batteries and assumed that they would all be the same size but it appears not, what I received is too long and a fraction too wide for my air rifle night sight. I am wiser but not better off.

Still getting used to the head torch, it's replaced a very old one, I think it was an H2 ? This H5 Core is a lot brighter and just as easy to use. The only thing I find a bit difficult is opening the battery case with my arthritic hands.
