The Nitecore NL1840HP is a rechargeable lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 4000 mAh and this model has a high continuous discharge current of 10 A.

A HDC battery is required with certain torches in order for the torch to draw enough power from the battery to access the highest brightness setting.

The NL1840HP has a range of safety features to ensure peace of mind when using and charging the battery. The internal safety features include a microporous barrier to protect internal components, pressure relief valve which activates in the event of rapid temperature increase and a built-in PTC inhibiting high current surges. Externally, the battery has nickel plated stainless steel protectors to ensure high impact resistance and oxidation resistance.

Never expose to water or fire. When charging or using ensure the positive and negative ends correspond with the positive (+) and negative (-) symbols. To extend battery life it is recommended that the battery be charged every three months when unused for long periods. Keep out of reach of children.
