NEBO Torchy 2K Rechargeable LED Torch (USB-C Battery)

The Nebo Torchy 2K offers a maximum output of 2000 lumens on the turbo boost setting, which can be activated for 30 seconds at a time to provide boosts of powerful light.

For constant use the high setting offers a maximum of 500 lumens output and there are also mid and low brightness levels, as well as a strobe output to choose from. All outputs are controlled with the single side button, which also features a battery power indicator underneath that will glow orange when the battery level is over 25% and will turn flash orange every second when the battery levels drops below 25% to remind you to charge the battery.

The torch is turned on with a single press and will cycle through high, mid, low and off with each press. The turbo is accessed by holding down the button while the torch is on. If the power button is held down while the light is off it will go direct to low mode.

To activate strobe quickly double press the button in any state and single press to exit it again. If left in low, mid or high for longer than 8 seconds the next press will turn the light off rather than cycling to the next mode. The last used brightness output, except turbo and strobe, will be remembered the next time the torch is turned on if it was left in that mode for 8 seconds before being turned off.

Smart Power Control technology will gradually increase the light when the torch is turned on or when changing between modes, allowing the users eyes to adjust to the brightness change more easily and also to reduce the power consumption of the torch.

The Torchy 2K is powered by a 18650 lithium-ion battery. To charge, remove the battery and insert the USB-C cable into the charging port on the battery. The indicator light will show the level of charge. Red light indicates the battery is charging and Green indicates a full charge.

The Torchy 2K comes with a magnetic base which allow you to attach the torch to magnetic surfaces and use as a hands free work light, while a two way pocket clip provides easy attachment to a pocket, backpack or a belt.

I have a particular hate for torches where you have to press buttons 20 times just to get some light out of it! This makes it very difficult to pick a torch that fills all my other needs but also can be turned on (and off!) with a single button push!
The product descriptions are excellent (other vendors should think carefully about this point) and go into fine detail about how the torches are operated and how to select different modes that might be available.
On rare occasions where I might still have a query then being able to ask this directly and get informed answers is so refreshing and helpful.

I really wish all online purchases were like this.

The best I have owned

Although I have a rechargeable head torch already that I also bought from Torchdirect and was it was suitable for what I needed at that time, I needed a more powerful torch and having owned an Led lenser before and found it utterly reliable I decided to buy a head torch of the same brand. It was delivered very quickly. I have found my new purchase to be really good. Although it is a bit heavier than my old head torch I soon got used to it and I am more than satisfied.

Excellent Backup Battery

My Nebo torch takes an hour or two to fully charge so these batteries are great because they have their own charging port so you can still use the torch while these are charging via a USB c cable and then have them ready as a spare to use immediately if the battery in the torch runs out whilst you are using it.

There is a reason these guys are so highly rated, Im glad I decided to speak to them about what was apparently a "non fixable" LED Lenser torch. Previous experience and checking out what is available now there are many keyring torches with a key fitting at the opposite end to the torch but not long enough to shine light on the keyhole and insert the key at the same time, therefore "Not fit for purpose" This one has a keyring already fitted and after fitting my keyring to this I have plenty of scope to shine the light on the keyhole and fit the key. Love this torch

This torch is very small and light, but packs quite a punch with the 500 lumens.

OIt is to replace my Fenix E15, it is lighter and overall smaller but has an extra 50 lumens

I cannot fault it in any way!

Batteries are fine....

No problems with the batteries, performance is good ado what they say on the tin. Unfortunately the original P7 Signature wasn't and fried the new battery, the same as the one I had bought it to replace. Fortunately, Torch Direct preformed admirably as usual and just replaced the torch within a few days without any quibble. Wonderful service TD keep it up, I will be back again the next time I need a replacement item.
