The Maglite ML300L 2 D cell torch has the same timeless design of the original 2 D torch, but offers a higher 487 lumen output using LED technology.

Five different functions of high, low, strobe, eco and momentary are available and are split into four function sets to select from. Once the desired user mode is selected, the outputs can be cycled through using the side mounted QuickClik™ electronic switch.

The function sets are as follows;
#1 General:
High, Low, Eco
#2 Outdoor:
High, Low, Strobe
#3 Law Enforcement:
Momentary, High, Eco
#4 Tactical:
Momentary, High, Strobe

The torch will always come preset in function set #1 (general). To change to a different function set simply unscrew the tail cap until the torch no longer turns on, pause for two seconds and then hold down the switch. While still holding down the switch, tighten the tail cap until fully tight and the torch will start to blink after four seconds, the number of blinks indicates the function set. To select the desired set, wait until the torch has done the required amount of blinks (e.g. four blinks for function set #4 Tactical), and then release the switch.

Spot to focus beam is achievable with a quarter turn of the head. Versatile and reliable, Maglite will get the job done.

Excellent Torch

Having had several Maglites over the years, most of which were totally unreliable after a while, I decidied to spend more to get something that worked reliably. Hopefully, this torch will be reliable although it's too early to say yet. It looks well made and has several brightness levels as well as a strobe and SOS mode. Max brightness is very bright and the beam focus can be adjusted. TorchDirect made the buying process simple and efficient.

Really pleased with the 12k, build quality is as you would expect from Nitecore, Easy to hold and operating is easy. The display with power level and illumination time left is really useful. Was looking at the 20k Nitecore but thought that may be a bit big, so went for the 12k. When its in Turbo mode trust me you dont need anything else. Also service and delivery time was excellent from the supplier
