Ledlenser H7R SE Special Edition Rechargeable LED Head Torch

The Ledlenser H7R SE is a special edition rechargeable head torch, offering Ledlenser's Advanced Focus System, dimmable lighting plus a strobe and red output.

The H7R SE features an output of up to 400 lumens and the advanced focus system allows you to smoothly transition the light from spot to flood by twisting the bezel on the head of the torch.

The H7R SE features three modes, by default the head torch is in mode 1. To turn the torch on press the push button on the top of the head torch. Each press after will cycle through the outputs in the current mode before turning off. Ensure you press the button within three seconds or the next press will turn the head torch off in all outputs.

To access mode 1, press and hold the button on the top of the torch for 6 seconds while off until the torch flashes once. Mode 1 cycles through low power, standard and then off. To access mode 2, press and hold the button for 9 seconds while off until it flashes twice. Mode 2 cycles through standard, low power and then off. To access mode 3, press and hold the button for 12 seconds while off until the torch flashes three times. Mode 3 cycles through standard, strobe and then off. Double press the button to access the momentary boost output.

While on in any constant white output (excluding boost), the wheel on the battery pack controls the brightness of the head torch with step-less dimming and brightening. Turn the wheel counter-clockwise to dim the light and clockwise to brighten the light. The torch will flash to indicate it has reached the minimum or maximum output. While in the strobe output turning the wheel counter-clockwise will slow the rate of the strobe light while turning it clockwise will increase the pace of the strobe.

The H7R SE features a rear red light, perfect for increasing safety during night. To turn on the rear red light press the wheel button on the battery pack. The light will turn on in the red output, press again to turn on the flashing red output with the last press turning the light off.

The H7R SE features an energy saving mode which dims the output as the battery drains  is on by default. To access the energy saving mode press the rear wheel button 8 times within four seconds. On the 8th press hold the button until the torch flashes then dims. To turn off the energy saving mode repeat and the torch will flash again.

There is also a lock out mode to prevent accidental activation when not in use, which can be activated by holding the button for 3 seconds until the light blinks four time. To come out of lock out mode, repeat and the torch will flash four times.

The H7R SE is powered by the included 1400 mAh lithium-ion battery pack which sits on the back of the headband and helps evenly distribute weight. To install the battery, remove the cover on the battery case and insert the battery ensuring that the positive and negative ends are aligned.

Once installed the battery can be charged inside the case using the included micro-USB charging cable. Simply insert the cable into the charging port on the side of the battery case and insert the other end into a suitable USB power source. The wheel on the battery pack will turn red while charging is in progress and green once charging is complete.

Alternatively you can use four AAA alkaline batteries, perfect for back-up power while on the go. Simply insert the batteries into the battery case. Never attempt to charge the head torch with the alkaline batteries inserted.

The swivel mechanism of the head lamp provides adjustment of the beam position so the light can be angled to where you need.
