Fenix TK05R Rechargeable Tactical LED Torch

The Fenix TK05R is a super compact and versatile torch, perfect for rugged outdoor use, search and rescue or police.

Utilising a Osram CSLPM1.TG LED it offers a maximum output of 1000 lumens on high and throws the beam up to 450 metres, providing an excellent combination of output and distance in a compact body.

It is powered using the included Fenix 18350 rechargeable lithium-ion battery which is charged inside of the torch via the USB-C charging port on the neck of the torch. Simply plug in the included USB-C charging cable and the standard USB-A end into a USB power source to begin charging. A red light will illuminate on the battery to show charging is in progress, and turn green once charging is complete.

Three brightness levels are available plus the strobe output and they are controlled by the circular tactical and oval functional switch located on the tail cap of the torch. To turn the TK05R on or off press the tactical switch. Half pressing the switch will temporally turn the torch on and when releasing the switch the torch will turn off.

With the torch on, press the functional switch to cycle through the low, medium and high outputs. To access the strobe with the torch on, press and hold the functional switch for 0.5 seconds. The next press of the functional switch will return the torch to its previous setting or a full press of the tactical switch will turn the torch off. To access strobe instantly, while the torch is off press and hold the functional switch, when released the torch will turn off.

Intelligent overheat protection will lower the output of the torch in order to cool the torch and prevent damage from overheating. Once the torch has cooled the high mode can be selected again. If the battery voltage drops below the pre-set level the torch is programmed to downshift to a lower brightness level until low output is reached, at which point the battery indicator will flash red.

Tested in laboratory conditions to ANSI/PLATO FL1 standard using 1 x Fenix ARB-L18-1100 18350 lithium-ion rechargeable battery. Results may vary between torch, battery and environments.
