Fenix PD45R ACE Rechargeable LED Torch

The Fenix PD45R ACE is a compact rechargeable torch, suited to military, law enforcement and rescue professions, but also great for an adventure.

Flexibility is the main feature of this torch, offering customisation with 6 different light profiles to choose from using the selector ring and tactical tail switch to lock in your preference.

Equipped with a powerful Luminus SFT70 cool white LED and powered by one high capacity 21700 rechargeable lithium-ion battery, the Fenix PD45R ACE puts out a superb performance with a maximum of 3200 lumens output and a beam distance of up to 410 metres in turbo.

The PD45R ACE features a mode selector ring, which allows the user to select the current set mode, lockout mode or enter the set mode to alter the selected set. Meanwhile the tactical tail switch controls the operation of the outputs in the chosen set. Strobe mode is available in all 6 sets. Please see the manual download for further operation instructions.

The included Fenix 21700 6000 mAh lithium-ion battery charges inside the torch via the USB-C charging port for faster charging. Twist down the hidden cover of the USB-C port, located on the neck of the torch, and plug the included cable into the torch one end and the other end into a computer/laptop or a suitable USB adaptor.

The LED charging indicator next to the charging port will go red to indicate charging is in progress and will turn green once charging is complete after approximately 3 hours when charging the included battery using an 18 W or higher adaptor. Ensure the cover is fully tightened back up after charging.

The LED next to the charging port is also a battery level indicator and will light up for 3 seconds when the torch is first turned on, with either a green, green flashing, red or red flashing light to show the battery power remaining and notify you when the battery needs charging.

When the voltage of the torch drops below 3 V, the voltage warning function will downshift to a lower brightness level the until the Eco level is reached, at which point the indicator next to the charging port will flash red to remind you to charge the battery.

Note: *The turbo output is measured at total run-time, including output at reduced levels due to temperature or the built-in protection mechanism. The over-heat protection will gradually drop the turbo brightness level into mid brightness level to cool the torch.

Tested in laboratory conditions to ANSI/PLATO FL1 standard using 1 x Fenix ARB-L21-6000 21700 lithium-ion rechargeable battery under the temperature of 21±3°C and humidity of 50% - 80%. Results may vary between torch, battery and environments.
