The Fenix CP50R is a high-performance work light designed for both professionals and outdoor enthusiasts. With a maximum output of 5,500 lumens and a beam throw of 450 metres, it delivers powerful illumination when you need it most. Its dual-distance beam system allows for spotlight, floodlight, or combined use, while additional red, yellow, and green modes enhance visibility and safety in challenging environments.

Powered by two 6000 mAh 21700 rechargeable batteries, the CP50R offers up to 240 hours of runtime on its lowest setting and recharges in just three hours via USB-C. It can also double as a power bank thanks to a built-in USB-A port, keeping essential devices powered wherever you are, a valuable feature for worksites and remote trips alike.

Engineered for reliability, the CP50R includes intelligent thermal regulation that steps output down if temperatures rise too high, resuming full brightness once cooled. Rear battery indicators provide instant charge updates, while the light can still output up to 500 lumens during charging.

Practical and versatile, the CP50R’s 360° magnetic rotating handle allows it to be positioned at multiple angles, attached to magnetic surfaces, mounted to a tripod, or hung as needed. Durable, adaptable, and packed with power, it’s a lighting solution built to perform wherever the job takes you.

Note: *The stepless brightness regulation is available in all modes except for the warning mode, the above specifications only indicate these three modes run-time at max, mid, and low outputs.
*The high output is measured in total of run-time including output at reduced levels due to the built-in temperature protection mechanism.

Tested in laboratory conditions to ANSI/PLATO FL1 standard using the included 2x Fenix ARB-L21-6000 batteries under the temperature of 21±3°C and humidity of 50% - 80%. Results may vary between torch, battery and environments.

Very impressive torch indeed

I bought this, specifically, because I live in an area with virtually no street lighting. I want to 'see and be seen' but also wanted a torch that would be small enough to sit in my jacket pocket without being heavy etc. The Nitecore MT1C Pro does this - and more. Firstly the beam, this is more like a searchlight than a torch, very long and powerful beam, this means any approaching traffic when walking on a narrow lane, sees the beam long before they see you. Secondly the simplicity, press the tail switch and it is on, simple as that. I have had too many (very good) torches that are undermined by having to scroll through the light settings. The MT1C Pro comes on with pull power at the first press. I also like that it will take conventional CR123A batteries (I have a box of them and tried one out and it still gives a very good 500 lumens, which is more than enough for most situations). In summary this does exactly what I wanted it to do, in exactly the way I wanted it too and, hence, I am very impressed. Finally a word about the superb service from Torch Direct, faultless service every time and my 'go to' supplier of choice.

Great performance from a great price

I am a torch addict and as such very picky. This Energizer is great for general applications, where 400 lumens is enough. The red LED is good, while not too bright compared to some. Simple scroll from throw to ambient beam to combined. It will not leave you speechless, but for this price, why would it.

I already have spare 18650 batteries for my Fenix caving headtorch, which has been very reliable, so was glad to see that Fenix now have a bike light that can be mounted under my handlebar, with good run times and the option to carry charged spare batteries as well.

One of the best

I bought the NITECORE EDC37 torch a few weeks ago and quite frankly love it. It is beautifully made, has several light settings, from low light to extreme lighting (8000 lumens). A digital display is very clear to read, and shows very useful information including the time left during usage.
It is a little weighty but really is a brilliant little torch.
The service from TORCHDIRECT was excellent too. Good communications and arrived well packaged and on time
