Fenix CL20R V2.0 Rechargeable LED Lantern

The Fenix CL20R V2.0 is a compact, go-anywhere rechargeable camping lantern designed for everything from weekend camping trips to power cut prep at home. Small enough to pack easily yet packed with features, it delivers up to 300 lumens of soft, even illumination with a beam diameter of up to 12 metres, making it ideal for lighting up tents, organising gear, or creating ambient light around the campsite.

This updated V2.0 model operates across two primary lighting groups. General Mode provides the four white light outputs, offering practical illumination from subtle night light to full campsite brightness.

Scene Mode adds versatility and atmosphere, offering red constant, red flashing, RGB chase, RGB flow and RGB stepless colour selection from the main dome. These modes are ideal for preserving night vision, signalling in an emergency, or creating ambient lighting.

In addition, a light ring around the switch provides lower-output red, red flashing, RGB chase and RGB flow modes, offering subtle accent lighting or gentle night illumination without using the full lantern output.

The lantern is powered by a removable Fenix ARB-LP1900 1900 mAh Li-ion battery, with the flexibility to use 3 × AAA batteries as a backup power source. Charging is via the internally waterproofed USB-C port (cable supplied), with a full recharge taking approximately 2 hours, 30 minutes. All outputs can be used while charging.

A built-in battery level indicator allows you to quickly check remaining power, while the IP65 rating ensures reliable performance in rain and harsh weather.

The CL20R V2.0 can stand freely, hang from its integrated hook, or attach securely to metal surfaces using the magnetic base, making it a dependable and versatile lighting solution for camping, emergencies and everyday use.

Important: Never attempt to charge the lantern with AAA batteries installed.

*The high output is measured in total of runtime including output at reduced levels due too temperature or protection mechanism in the design.

Tested in laboratory conditions to ANSI/PLATO FL1 standard using 1 x Fenix ARB-LP1900 battery under the temperature of 21±3°C and humidity of 50% - 80%. Results may vary between torch, battery and environments.
