I already had one of these but couldn't find the charger, so had to buy another one. Still, this is a great torch - very bright, magnetised base and a rubberised sturdy construction that makes it easy to hold. Plus a carry cord and adjustable beam. It's now been reduced further in the Black Friday event, but I got it for a good price.
I bought 2 battery powered head torches. They are simple with no flashing lights or red lights, just good torches. I would recommend Torch Direct.

These NightSearcher Pulsar NavStar is the superior emergency light system. I have tried the cheaper AA set that are USB chargeable and only one colour, this set charges all the lights in one go by using the case which is far better than one at a time. Ideal for any breakdown or accident that you want other road users to be made aware of.
It’s the old cliche, you get what you pay for
This is good battery. I used my torch a lot and wanted replacements for my seeker 4. Navigating the olight website is a real curse. That's why I bought my batteries from TORCH DIRECT. A site that's very easy to navigate and delivery is quick.
These surpassed expectations, excellent for eliminating cold fingers in seconds. Size is perfect to hold in your hands with or without gloves. Heat up instantly and the lowest setting is more than sufficient for a quick “defrost”. After trying so many thermal gloves with varying results I would thoroughly recommend buying these for winter months, they’re never out of my handbag.
I bought this torch as I have a bunch of c cells from some defunct piece of equipment. I have got early Maglites this is so much brighter than my old bulb models and sits very nicely in the hand, as I said very happy.

I have owned a AA Mini maglite for many years and have used it probably thousands of times. My latest purchase was for my daughter and son-in-law. They were happy with the purchase until I showed them candle mode. That really wowed them because it makes this little powerhouse twice as useful during a power outage!
This torch has a great beam with very little divergence, make sure you know what you’re buying. The picture was taken with flash to stop the shutter staying open.
Although it's a mid range Price and a fairly reasonable beam this torch is too fiddley. And in my opinion configured wrong, it's difficult to turn on and seems to be different each time, definitely not worth 60 quid. I've got nitecore torches and this is not a patch on them

I love the maglite solitaire LED it is brilliant. The battery lasts a very long time. Candle mode is fantastic it will light up an entire room. I love the fact that it runs off a AAA because it’s so easy to find. I have been keeping it in my pocket. Which is impossible considering that women’s pockets are so small. The size is perfect it’s big enough that it is easy to use but small enough so that you will actually carry around with you. The twist cap means it doesn’t turn on accidentally. Truly an essential tool. Highly recommended.
I was impressed at first but realised after a short time the batteries do not last long enough, as I work nights with a lot of outside working.
I thought I know I will buy the rechargeable battery pack it however it seems to only available outside of the UK and I can't get it delivered to the UK . So not impressed.
