After using a Petzl headtorch for the last 9 months, I was in the market for something a little more compact and a little brighter. The NiteCore did exactly that. The charging capability was far more convenient. Overall a very good head torch and would highly recommend!
I phoned this Company for advice and to make a purchase. I consider myself very lucky to have made that decision as I received the best customer service I have encountered for many, many years. I have no doubt that all the Staff are great but I dealt with by a gent called Stewart. A1++++ guy and I received the bulbs within 24 hours. Beat that if you can !
Have owned several Led Lenser torches & decided to try out the big P18R. I already own a Fenix of similar size, output & distance. Compares favourably on almost all data. It is an impressive search light especially over 400-500m. Beyond that would require a more forcused beam (which Fenix has). I wanted more flood & the P18R certainly delivers. One issue is a battery pack as I personally prefer individual batteries but purely subjective. Would have struggled to justify at full £RRP but sale price a much more inviting proposition.
I am a torch addict and as such very picky. This Energizer is great for general applications, where 400 lumens is enough. The red LED is good, while not too bright compared to some. Simple scroll from throw to ambient beam to combined. It will not leave you speechless, but for this price, why would it.
I bought this for night riding, audax rides in particular. I already have spare 18650 batteries for my Fenix caving headtorch, which has been very reliable, so was glad to see that Fenix now have a bike light that can be mounted under my handlebar, with good run times and the option to carry charged spare batteries as well.
On first sight nice size fits in pocket nicely, used it on a dark night dog walk great, the low light was great for what I needed the Turbo light well you could say a miniature spot light bright very, got home checked where the USB would fit, Oh dear problem where I had set the beam the USB port was showing and a very wet night there could be a problem as was could and probably will get in the USB port, just keep that in mind if you are like me a dog walker of my own dog in all weathers. Otherwise a nice handy Torch.
I bought the NITECORE EDC37 torch a few weeks ago and quite frankly love it. It is beautifully made, has several light settings, from low light to extreme lighting (8000 lumens). A digital display is very clear to read, and shows very useful information including the time left during usage.
It is a little weighty but really is a brilliant little torch.

I find these batteries long lasting when using them in the torch, they also have a good usage life with my first replacements being purchased just over 3 years later. A really good battery for my fenix torch.

Great keychain torch. I do wish I had done a bit of research and gone with something with more flood - better for my uses. Still a great torch with good service too.
A well built torch with a useful clip and great magnetic charger. The choice of variable beams is great for early morning runs. The torch is sturdy, but not too heavy.
As one of the other reviewers said ,”small but mighty”.
Although only around 50mm long, this torch is really powerful.
