I'm no stranger to Maglites, and have owned around a dozen of them over the years. The older incandescent models have phenomenal build quality and such a timeless design, and did their job with just about enough brightness. This ML300L 4D is everything I've always loved about Maglites, but with far beyond sufficient luminous flux. Despite knowing it's 1002 lumens before turning it on, I was very impressed! It really is like turning night into day at the press of a button. While most brands have cut costs lately, if anything the build quality of this Maglite is slightly higher than older models when comparing side by side feel and finish. The switch feels great to use and the 3 brightness levels on the standard setting are just right. I can see myself using the "low" (middle setting) the most which gives up to 97 hours of battery life! For reference the "Eco" setting is about equivalent in lux (visual surface illumination) to the light from an incandescent D-cell maglite. For those curious, I estimate Low to be around 325 lm and Eco to be around 80 lm - truly unique settings - no gimmicks. Nice not having to replace bulbs either as the LED module is built to last even heavy/comercial users a lifetime. Definitely recommend!
Mini keyring torch does everything I'd hoped for and more. Lightweight but solidly built so should prove useful for years to come.

Great torch. I was looking for a single brightness torch in a small format and this fits the bill. It's just the right brightness for normal use and, although I don't need an intrinsically safe torch, the yellow colour does stand out when you put it down on a dark surface. The tail switch takes a bit of getting used to, as you have to press it in just the right way. Run time is good with the supplied AAA batteries.
We bought these hand warmers knowing that Ocoopa is a good well known name for quality and my elderly partner being 72yrs old suffers from arthritis in the hands, well she is over the moon with the product from Torch Direct and the warmth they give out is excellent it solves the aching and cold hands. Since purchasing these she uses them all time. Thank you Torch Direct for another good purchase from you. And a big thank you to Stuart whose help is above and beyond.
This torch is light as it's made out of aluminium but still feels solidly built.
Being able to access four different colour lights all at the touch off individual buttons is a great feature.
The only criticism I would make is that the buttons could do with offering more resistance to being pushed, as it is sometimes easy to turn on inside a bag and perhaps a clear lens over the front end would be a good idea to keep muck and grime out.
Other than that, it's a fantastic little torch which I’m sure will give years of service.
Well-made torch that fits snugly on the head. Useful for illuminating the path ahead when running in the dark.
I wanted a replacement batteryt for my Coast XP34HR headtorch. I contacted Torch Direct who were out of stock but said thay would get one from Coast and to expect a few days wait. It was, in fact, shipped out to me just a day later by courier. This is real customer care.

This is a lovely small torch handy to keep in pocket. Nice to have choice over differing Colour temps and brightness outputs. Being able to cover switches is a handy addition very pleased with it
