Xtar Helmet Mount for H3, H3 Warboy and H3R Head Torches

The Xtar helmet mount is designed to attach the Xtar H3, H3 Warboy or H3R to a helmet or hard hat.

To attach the mount, firstly remove the small allen key that is nestled in the side of the mount. If needed, loosen the screw firstly and then insert the U shaped section of the mount onto the peak or brim of the hard hat, with the torch holder facing upwards. Once in place use the allen key to tighten the screw to firmly keep the mount in place.

The torch can now be slotted into the holder and placed at the angle you require for the task at hand. If needed the mount can be left on the hard hat and just attach/remove the torch as required.

This mount is a great alternative to stretching the headband of a head torch around your helmet and faffing around with helmet clips.

Small but effective!

Works well and secures to your hardhat (helmet) tightly. Holds my xtar warboy well and I'm sure will hold other EDC's. Only gripe is that you are aware of the overhang slightly out of the corner of your eyes (or top). Five stars for Torch Direct service again. My go to light company. Thanks

This useful set of lighting units - four of them - are each connected to a control-cum-battery unit, the battery being rechargeable. They are constructed from good quality alloy, and other materials for the bendy parts. They have a reassuring quality feel about them. A nice touch is that you can have the control unit engraved, say, with your initials.
Although I have not used any of the components "in anger" as yet, it is good to have a set of different lighting units for different purposes.

I'm very happy with this device. Initially I thought the slider mechanism felt a bit flimsy, but I have now worked through my stock of old batteries and everything works well. A bonus for me is that it will also test button cells, which my previous tested did not. Overall, a good piece of kit at a good price.
