Nitecore P10iX Rechargeable LED Torch

£101.94

The Nitecore P10iX is a high performance rechargeable torch with a maximum output of 4000 lumens from four Cree XP-L2 V6 LEDs.

Designed for tactical applications, the P10iX has some of the same great features as the P10i such as the upgraded 2nd generation Strobe Ready™ dual button interface, that has a strobe ready pedal design inset into the tail cap to prevent accidental activation.

In addition, the P10iX is also a rechargeable unit that uses a USB-C charging port for faster and efficient charging of the included Nitecore NL2150HPi battery. It is a patented i series battery that has a high discharge current of 15 A in order to be able to access the high output of the P10iX and a regular 21700 mAh battery is not compatible with the P10iX.

Two CR123A lithium metal non-rechargeable batteries or two RCR123A lithium-ion rechargeable batteries can also be used in the torch with the included CR123A carrier, however these cannot be recharged inside the torch and only a maximum output of 1060 lumens is possible. Never attempt to charge CR123A lithium metal batteries.

With the included NL2150HPi battery inserted into the torch, ensure that the head and tail cap are tightly screwed on before lifting the dust cover to reveal the USB-C port, that is located on the head of the torch. Plug the included cable into the USB-C charging port, and the USB-A end into a suitable USB power source. The charging indicator light will slowly flash while charging is in progress and turn solid when charging is complete. A full charge takes approximately 3 hours, 45 minutes when charging the included battery with a 5 V, 2 A output.

The indicator will show the remaining battery voltage when disconnected from charging or when the battery is first inserted with a series of flashes. For example if the voltage is 4.2 V it will flash four times, pause and flash twice more. The indicator will also display remaining battery power when the torch is turned on by being steady illuminated for over 50%, slowly flashing for below 50% and rapidly flashing for below 10%.

Two selectable modes of operation allow the user to define the user interface:

Daily: Ultralow / Low / Mid / High / Higher / Turbo
Tactical: Turbo / High / Mid / Low

Strobe is instantly available in any state. With the light off the strobe can be instantly accessed for momentary operation by holding down the Strobe Ready™ mode button and will turn off when the button is released. Strobe can be constantly accessed when the light is on with a long press of the Strobe Ready™ mode button in tactical mode, or in either mode with a tripe click of the Strobe Ready™ mode button and will revert back to the last used setting with a single press or off with the circular tail button (turning it off will memorise the strobe). The strobe randomly change frequencies to disorient an attacker.

To change between the modes first ensure the tail cap is tight and the light is off, then hold down the Strobe Ready™ button while simultaneously unscrewing the tail switch. The white LED indicates the selected mode by flashing once for daily mode, or twice for tactical mode and the tail cap can then be tightened.

The circular button turns the torch on/off with a full click, or half pressing the button will provide momentary illumination until the button is released. When in daily mode the torch will turn on in the memorised mode (except turbo) and a single press of the mode button will cycle through Ultralow, low, mid, high, higher, and the turbo is accessed momentarily by holding down the mode button and will go off when the button is released. In tactical mode the torch will always turn on in turbo, unless strobe was the last used mode, and single presses of the mode button will cycle through turbo, high, mid and low.

The included NTH10 tactical holster is made from sturdy plastic that keeps the torch in place and allows for immediate quick draw when required without having to lift a flap up first, and provides a convenient way for carrying your torch as it has an adjustable stopper on the clip making it compatible with belts between 1.25 and 2.25 inches, in 0.25 inch increments. Also included is a stainless pocket clip for easy attachment to a pocket, back pack or molle vest.

Compatible with the TSL10i and RSW2i (sold separately), the P10iX can be used in tactical applications.

The integrated advance temperature regulation (ATR) technology regulates the output of the P10iX according to the working condition and ambient environment to maintain the optimal performance.

Operational Modes

Using 1 x 21700 5000 mAh 15 A lithium-ion battery;
Turbo: 4000 lumens; 30 minutes run-time; 158 m beam range*
Higher: 1700 lumens; 2 hours run-time; 102 m beam range
High: 850 lumens; 2 hours; 30 minutes; 72 m beam range
Mid: 300 lumens; 7 hours, 15 minutes run-time; 44 m beam range
Low: 50 lumens; 38 hours run-time; 17 m beam range
Ultralow: 2 lumens; 350 hours run-time; 3 m beam range
Strobe: 4000 lumens

Using 2 x CR123A lithium metal (approx. 1700 mAh) batteries:
High: 1060 lumens; 1 hour; 80 m beam range
Mid: 300 lumens; 3 hours, 30 minutes run-time; 44 m beam range
Low: 50 lumens; 14 hours run-time; 17 m beam range
Ultralow: 2 lumens; 120 hours run-time; 3 m beam range
Strobe: 1060 lumens

Note: *Tested without temperature regulation active. As this is a high drain device, the temperature regulation may lower the output to reduce the temperature of the torch when used in the turbo mode.

Tested to ANSI/PLATO FL1-2019 standards in laboratory conditions. The data may vary slightly in real world use depending on battery type, individual usage habits and environmental factors.
