The Nitecore NL2140HP is a premium quality high capacity 21700, 4000 mAh lithium-ion battery that has a continuous discharge current of 15 A for high drain devices, such as the Nitecore HC35 headlamp.
As with all Nitecore batteries safety is paramount and the NL2140HP cell has a range of internal features to keep you, your devices and chargers as safe as possible. The 21700 battery has an innovative anode design with high temperature resistance, built-in PTC to inhibit high current surges, pressure relief valve which activates in the event of a rapid temperature increase and a microporous barrier that protects the delicate internal components. Externally, the cell is equipped with nickel-plated stainless steel protectors at both ends and is coated with a durable metallic film to guard against abrasion.
The Nitecore NL2140HP 21700 battery can be only be charged in the following Nitecore chargers: UMS2, UMS4, UI1 and UI2.
Please note: This battery is larger than an 18650 battery and cannot be used in standard 18650 sized torches. To extend battery life it is recommended that it is charged every three months when unused for long periods.
