The Nitecore NL1835R is a high capacity 18650 lithium-ion 3500 mAh battery specifically designed for high intensity torch use and is the perfect companion for Nitecore 18650 powered lights.
As well as being able to charge in a battery charger (Nitecore charger recommended) the NL1835R has an additional feature that sets it apart from standard 18650 batteries as it has a built-in micro USB charging port in the top of the battery.
Using a standard Micro USB charging cable this battery can be easily charged up which is not only convenient but can also save money on buying a separate charger. A charging indicator on the end of the battery will glow red once the charging cable is plugged in and connected to power to show charging is in progress and it will turn green once charging is complete.
The NL1835R has a range of safety features. Internally the battery features pressure relief protection which activates if the temperature rapidly increases, a microporous barrier which protects the internal components, an integrated smart charging circuitry in the anode to protect against over-charging, over-discharging and short circuiting, plus a built-in PTC inhibiting high current surges. Externally, the battery is equipped with a nickel plated, stainless steel protector which ensures high impact resistance, good electrical conductivity and oxidation resistance.
NOTE: Please check the dimensions of your intended application before purchasing, as the slightly increased length and diameter of these batteries due to the charging port means that they may not fit some products.
