NEBO Master Series PL500 Rechargeable LED Torch

The PL500 is part of Nebo's Master Series, which is comprised of rechargeable torches that offer a durable, rugged design coupled with intuitive, feature-rich innovation and complete with a sleek design.

The white LED outputs a bright beam of 500 lumens on the turbo output, which is designed as a boost setting, allowing 30 seconds output at a time in order to prevent the temperature of the torch becoming too high and thus protecting the LEDs. The high output is a constant setting of 250 lumens that lasts for 2 hours and two other brightness settings are available as well as strobe. Optimised power curve technology uses battery power efficiency to provide a more consistent light and increase battery life.

A side power button turns the light on and off, and the outputs can be changed with the mode selection dial on the head which can be twisted to line up the white marker with the circle (low), half circle (mid) or shaded circle (high) symbols. Turbo is activated by holding down the button while the torch is on and will last for 30 seconds before reverting to the previous mode (unless you exit early with a single press), whilst a quick double click at any time will access strobe and a single press will exit to the last setting. direct to low is also possible by holding down the button while the light is off, and can be exited by rotating the dial or pressing the button.

The PL500 is powered by the included 10850 rechargeable lithium-ion battery, which provides 2 hours run-time on the high output. The battery is easily recharged inside the torch via the magnetic charging port on the head. Plug the included cable into a USB-A power source, and then connect the magnetic charging end to the magnetic charging port on the torch. While charging the indicator under the button will pulse red to show charging is in progress and turn solid blue to show charging is complete.

Dust and waterproof to IPX7 standards, it can submerged under water to 1 metres depth for up to 30 minutes and the rugged design provides an impact resistance of 2 metres, making it perfect for use in many different environments. The 4x zoom provides focus pull by twisting the bezel of the torch, so it is adjustable for the required application.
