The Ledlenser T2 is a compact yet powerful torch designed for dependable performance in professional and everyday situations. Delivering up to 240 lumens on standard power and 25 lumens on low, it provides a well-balanced output with a beam distance of up to 180 metres, making it ideal for a wide range of tasks.

The beam emits a cool white light at 6500 K with a CRI of 70, producing a bright, consistent output with a smooth and homogeneous beam pattern. A high-quality reflector lens ensures efficient light distribution for both distance and close-range use.

Operation is simple and reliable with a rear tactical switch, allowing quick access to the available brightness levels. The straightforward interface makes it easy to use in demanding situations where simplicity and speed are key.

Powered by three AAA alkaline batteries (included), the T2 offers a runtime of up to 25 hours on low mode and around 4 hours on standard power. This battery-powered design makes it a practical choice when charging isn’t available, while gold-plated contacts enhance conductivity and reliability.

Built with durability in mind, the T2 features a diamond-textured body for a secure grip and is designed to withstand tough conditions. Rather a heavy torch but has it got a bright beam too it!! Yes not cheap but when you need to rely on a decent torch for your work ie: disused buildings tunnels & Railway trackside in rural area for my surveying jobs I’ve can depend on this torch.

New fangled beam patterns

I was a bit sceptical about the segmented LEDs on this model for beam patterns selction but decided to take the risk. To be fair the beam patterns are not as clearly defined as they are on a top quality optical focussing torch but they do add to the flexibility and usefulness of this model. I have found the brightness levels and their run-times well chosen for my purposes and the tiny LEDs giving an indication of the battery charge remaining most useful. In fact, despite my original scepticism, the more I use this torch the more I like it. All facilities are selectable from the one side mounted button, which is very convenient, as I am personally not over keen on tail mounted buttons. So long as you do not require slow strobe or SOS signalling this torch is very impressive for its size.

Having dealt with Torch Direct for many years now I would not dream of going anywhere else for my torch purchases as I have always found them very pleasant to deal with and extremely helpful with fast delivery. Reading other reviews, if anyone encounters a problem Torch Direct go to a lot of effort to resolve customer problems, it would appear.

Almost perfect torch for me

Most importantly, the tail switch only has one function so you don't have to press it multiple times to get the output you want; brightness etc is controlled by the side switch. It's just the right size, weight and colour (desert tan). It's a pity the four battery charge lights don't remain illuminated as on the EDC33 but that's a minor complaint.
