Ledlenser NEO10R Rechargeable LED Head Torch - Seconds

The Ledlenser NEO10R is a rechargeable head torch designed with running in mind, but is equally as good for hiking, camping, dog walking and many other activities where a lightweight head torch is preferred.

The advanced focus system allows you to focus the light from spot to flood by twisting the bezel on the head of the torch. On the highest setting when focused into a spot, with a full charge, the NEO10R can throw the beam up to 150 metres range. The swivel mounted head lamp unit allows you to aim the beam where required and prevents you from dazzling others.

The NEO10R is powered by a 18650 lithium-ion battery that sits in the battery compartment on the back of the head. It is connected to the head lap via a cable that can be disconnected to prevent accidental activation. For the light to work, once the battery has been fitted, slot the battery side of the cable into the headlamp side of the cable and then twist the battery side of the cable upwards to lock it into position.

An extension cable is included so you can lengthen the cable from the head lamp to the battery, allowing you t remove the battery compartment from the back of the headband and place it in a pocket or backpack, thus reducing the weight carried on the head.

The battery is recharged inside the battery compartment using the included micro USB cable. Simply lift the dust cover on the side of the battery pack and insert the charging cable into the micro USB port. Connect the other end to a computer/laptop or charge via the mains with a USB mains adaptor that can be purchased seperately. The light on the battery pack will turn red to indicate charging is in progress and will turn green once charging is complete in approximately 6 hours time with the supplied 3400 mAh battery.

A safety factor of the NEO10R is the rear red LED that will allow you to be seen from behind.

One constant current mode and two energy saving modes are available. Constant current mode will maintain the brightness output until the battery runs out, whereas energy saving mode will gradually decrease the brightness output as the battery level drops.

The push button on the top of the head lamp controls all the functions of the NEO10R. In mode 1 energy saving press the button to cycle through the brightness settings in the order of high, mid and low. In mode 2 energy saving press the button to cycle through the brightness settings in the order of low, mid and high. In mode 3 constant current press the button to cycle through the brightness settings in the order of high and low (mid setting is not available in constant current mode).

To change modes hold the button down for 10 seconds until the light blinks once for mode 1 energy saving, continue holding to 13 seconds until the light blinks twice for energy saving mode 2 and continue holding to 16 seconds until the light blinks three times for mode 3 constant current.

When the battery level is low the main light will blink three times to warn the user to charge the battery. A lockout function prevents accidental activation when not in use and is locked by holding the button down with the light off for 19 seconds until the light blinks four times and unlocked by holding the button for 5 seconds until the light blinks once.

A chest belt to mount the NEO10R on your body is included and is good for night running or group activities so not to shine the light directly at someones face.
