Goal Zero Venture Jump

The Goal Zero Venture Jump is a 800 amp jump starter designed to revive your car in emergencies, whilst also doubling as a power bank for your devices all from one compact body.

Powered by a lithium-ion poly battery the Venture Jump can easily be recharged via the USB-C port located on the bottom of the jump start. Simply connect the included USB cable to the port and the other end to a suitable USB power source, or alternatively connect to a compatible solar panel like the Nomad 10. When charging the LED indicators will flash in sequence until all four are solid to show a full charge after approximately four hours.

To check the battery level of the Venture Jump press the battery power button on the base of the jump starter. Four LED's indicate 100%, 3 indicate 75%, 2 indicate 50% and one indicates 25%.

The Venture Jump features a 45 lumen white light, perfect for breakdown emergencies, and even has a SOS mode for attracting attention when needed. To turn on the torch press and hold the battery power button for three seconds, each press after will cycle the flashing mode, the SOS mode and then off. The torch can not be activated when the battery is low or whilst charging.

Please Note: Before using the Venture Jump ensure you have read the manual and have a full understanding of the product. Ensure the Venture Jump is fully charged before first use and before attempting to jump start a vehicle. Carefully read and understand the vehicle manual and specific precautions before jump starting the vehicle. The venture jump is for jumpstarting 1-2 volt lead-acid battery vehicles only. Ensure that all the vehicles power loads are tuned off before attempting to jump start the vehicle.

To jump-start a vehicle connect the red positive clamp from the jumper cable to the positive battery terminal, then connect the black negative clamp from the jumper cable to the negative battery terminal. Securely insert the jumper lead cables into the jumper cable port on the Venture Jump, making sure to orient the cable correctly in the port. Once inserted into the Venture Jump do not allow the positive and negative battery clamps to connect to each other as the product will generate sparks which could cause harm.

Once the Venture Jump is connected, a solid green light will indicate it is ready for use. Wait a few seconds before attempting to start but no more than 30 seconds. Attempt to start the vehicle by turning the ignition key or pushing the ignition button. Each start-up attempt should not exceed 5 seconds. Do not attempt more than 5 consecutive jump starts within a 15 minute period. 

For safety reasons the Venture Jump will time out after 30 seconds. If you are not able to successfully complete the jump start before 3 seconds, you will need to disconnect the smart cables from the Venture Jump, remove the cables from the battery and then reconnect the system before trying again.

Once you have started the vehicle remove the jumper cable leads from the jumper cable port on the venture jump, then disconnect the red positive clamp from the battery and then remove black negative clamp from the battery.

The Jumper cable features an indicator light. Red and green alternating shows that the jumper cables are connected to the Venture Jump but not connected to the battery. Red solid shows the Venture Jump voltage is too low to attempt a jump or that the jumper cables are connected to the battery but not connected to the Venture Jump. Green solid shows the jumper cables are connected to the battery and the Venture Jump and is ready to jump start the vehicle. Red Solid and a continuous tone shows a short has been detected. Red solid and beeping shows reverse polarity, the positive and negative cables are attached to the incorrect battery terminals.

The Venture 35 can also act as a power bank for emergences. To use the Venture Jump as a power bank insert the correct cable and connect your device.

We are NOT responsible for any damage that is caused by the misuse of lithium-ion batteries. We recommend charging any lithium-ion cell on a metal surface or other non-flammable surface. Recharge the product every 3 months when left unused.
