The Goal Zero Lighthouse Micro Flash is a compact, rechargeable warm white LED lantern and torch with an output of up to 150 lumens and features stepless brightness adjustment.

The Lighthouse Micro Flash offers both a 180° and 360° lighting from the lantern as well as a torch output, perfect for a range of activities. The warm white light is controlled by the button on the top of the lantern. The Lighthouse Micro Flash will arrive in demo mode, to exit demo mode plug the lantern into a USB power source. Alternatively, press the power button six times, holding the button down on the sixth press. The battery indicator will flash to indicate the lantern has exited demo mode. Press the button once to turn on in the torch mode, twice for the full lantern output and three times for the half lantern output. While in any output, press and hold the button to dim the light. The four blue LED indicators below the dial will light to show the battery level while the lantern is on.

A built-in 2600 mAh lithium-ion battery powers the Lighthouse Micro Flash and can be recharged via the built-in flip USB tip. Simply flip the USB tip out from the bottom of the lantern and plug into a suitable USB power source. While charging the four blue charging indicators on the top will display charging progress until eventually all four LEDs are solid after approximately 3.5 hours full charge time. Alternatively, the Lighthouse Micro Flash can be charged via a Goal Zero solar panel. When using the Goal Zero Nomad 7, a full charge takes approximately 3.5 hours.

The lantern features a handle, perfect for hands free lighting.

Just the Job!!

Really pleased with this product. I use it for carrying out inspections at night, and the 2 brightest settings are perfect for the completing these tasks. Charging is efficient and so far, I’m very happy with this torch, especially as it was reduced in price.

Fenix HM 61 RV2.0 - excellent service from Torch Direct

The Fenix HM62rV2.0 was delivered on time as advised.
It is an excellent torch with the features I require. My only comments for improvement would be :-

# Addition of a random strobe feature.
# Cap end magnet a little weak, but OK if on a flat ferrous surface covering the whole of the cap area.
# Magnetic charger easily knocked off - perhaps USB connection would be more secure and faster charging.
# I needed only the torch. I will never use the headgear, which ideally could be an optional extra.

Never the less the torch as it is is superb in design,quality and ease of use.
Torch Direct knowledgeable advice and friendly personal service was as usual excellent. I would never bother to deal with another supplier.

Just the Job

I've owned four of these torches for a few years now, buying them one at a time, not all at once. I wouldn't have bought them one at a time, with several years between two of them, if I didn't think they were excellent. One lives in my shoulder-bag, another in my motor-cycling jacket, the third in one part of my hobbies room, and the fourth in another part of my hobbies room. They are small and powerful, ideal for looking under wardrobes for small items that I've dropped, looking into motor-cycle fuel tanks to get some idea of how far I can go before a stop for petrol becomes necessary, and even for looking into my mouth while using the bathroom mirror to do the throat-swabbing part of Covid tests. As they are not at all heavy they can be used for reading books, maps, etc. in the dark. The body looks and feels strong enough to be run over by an articulated tank transporter without being damaged.

A tactical torch, that's lighter than light, lighting dark areas alight with its light.

Took me a couple days to get round the button combinations and lock function. I kept locking it thinking it was the only way to use it. Turn outs you can just push the big button on and it will pick up whee you left off on the last brightness setting. I haven't tested it for longevity yet as it's the summer time, but what it offers is pretty impressive considering how small it is.

I had the fenix wt25r before hand and went through two of those. I seem to of had faulty connections around the button area. TD were very good with replacements and great aftercare as always.

As I work in pest control, I need a quality torch that will be up for daily use. I also need something small, powerful and with a long battery life. I also have a preference for square torches as I've lost a couple cylindrical torches down places out of reach.

Lastly I must comment on the weight. Its like having a pen in your pocket. It's great as it doesn't weigh my pockets down, however it's so light, I'm not sure it's still in my pocket.

This torch fills all my needs and then some. I just hope it lasts.
