Fenix TK16 V2.0 LED Torch

The Fenix TK16 V2.0 provides excellent tactical performance with a staggering 3100 lumens output from a Luminus SST70 LED and 380 metres beam range, all in a compact form.

It is powered using the included Fenix 21700 5000 mAh USB rechargeable lithium-ion battery which is charged outside of the torch via the USB-C charging port on the battery itself using the included USB-C charging cable for fast charging. Simply plug the USB-C end of the cable into the battery and the standard USB-A end into a USB power source to begin charging. A red light will illuminate on the battery to show charging is in progress, and turn blue once charging is complete.

Only the included ARB-L21-5000U battery or ARB-L21-4000P battery are compatible for use with the TK16 V2.0.

The upgraded design incorporates a rugged stainless steel bezel with three tungsten steel glass breaker tips inlaid that have a hardness rating of HRA 90 on the Rockwell Scale. Other features of this model also include a recoil protected battery tube with dual springs and Fenix proprietary Pulse Frequency Signal Transmission Switching Technology for enhanced performance and reliability, plus the torch can also withstand use in extreme cold or heat from -35°C to 45°C.

Five brightness levels, plus strobe mode are available and operated with the round tactical switch and oval functional switch that are both located on the tail end. The TK16 V2.0 is turned on and off with the tactical tail switch by fully pressing it down, and it also offers a momentary function by half pressing the button (the light will turn off when the button is released). Once the torch is on, the functional switch will cycle through eco, low, mid, high and turbo with each press.

Strobe is activated by holding the oval functional switch for 0.5 seconds when the torch is turned on and a single press will return the torch to the previous brightness setting. With the light turned off you can press and hold the functional switch to momentarily access strobe and the light will go off once the button is released, which is useful for tactical applications. The last used brightness setting (excluding strobe) will be remembered next time the light is turned on.

The torch will generate a lot of heat when used in turbo, therefore the overheat protection will automatically reduce the output when the internal temperature reaches 60° in order to protect the LED from overheating, and once the torch has cooled the turbo mode can be reselected. If the battery voltage drops below the preset level the torch is programmed to downshift to a lower brightness level until eco output is reached, at which point the light will flash 3 times every 5 minutes to remind you to charge the battery.

For weapon mounted use the TK16 V2.0 is compatible with the Fenix ALG-00 gun mount and the AER-05 tactical pressure switch.
