Fenix E18R Magnetic Rechargeable LED Torch - Seconds

Please note this is a seconds item being sold at a reduced price as it has been opened and has damaged packaging, which can be seen in the last image. The torch is unused and comes supplied in the original packaging with all of the accessories.

The Fenix E18R is a compact rechargeable torch that offers 750 lumens maximum output from the Cree XP-L HI white LED.

It is powered by one 16340 lithium-ion rechargeable battery and included is the Fenix ARB-L16-700P.

The battery is easily recharged inside the torch using the provided USB magnetic charging cable which is connected to a USB power source at one end and then the magnetic charging end is held close to the charging point on the head of the torch and it will automatically magnetise and connect to the torch to begin charging. A CR123A non-rechargeable battery can also be used in the torch in an emergency situation but charging the torch must not be attempted with a CR123A battery inside.

The side switch activates the torch by holding it for 0.5 seconds and then each press cycles through the modes of low, mid, high and turbo. Hold the switch for 0.5 seconds again to turn the light off. Strobe is activated by holding the button for 1.2 seconds and a single press will exit strobe.

To prevent accidental activation the E18R has a switch that sits at the same level as the surrounding metal ring to minimise it being pressed and the torch also features a physical and electronic lockout function. The electronic lockout is accessed by two quick presses of the button while the light is off and the torch will blink twice to indicate it has entered lock-out mode. The physical lockout is achieved by turning the pocket clip so that it sits over the button, meaning it cannot be accidentally pressed when not in use.

A built-in battery level indicator displays the battery status for 3 seconds when the button is single pressed with the light off. It will show either a solid green, green flashing, solid red or red flashing light.

A low battery voltage warning function is programmed to downshift to a lower brightness level when the voltage drops below the preset level. Once it reaches low output it will blink red to remind you to charge your 16340 battery.

Intelligent overheat protection will automatically downshift the brightness output after a certain amount of time when the torch is used for extended periods in the turbo or high setting in order to lower the temperature.

The base of the torch is magnetic, which is useful for hands free operation when carrying out tasks such as car maintenance.
