Nitecore EDC17 EU Green Laser, White & UV Slim Rechargeable LED Torch

The Nitecore EDC17 EU is an ultra-slim, high-performance rechargeable torch designed for everyday carry, inspection work and professional use. It delivers up to 1500 lumens from a NiteLab UHi 25 LED, with a beam range of up to 230 metres, all in a compact, pocket-friendly body.

This EU version features three light sources in one unit, comprising of a powerful white beam for general use, a UV light (365~375 nm) with three output levels for tasks such as document verification and leak detection, and a Class 1 green laser (<0.39 mW) certified for use in the EU.

The EDC17 EU provides four white-light brightness levels from an ultra-low 1 lumen mode for close-up work, up to the 1500 lumen High setting for maximum reach. The UV light offers three selectable levels (220 mW, 650 mW and 1350 mW) with a wavelength of 365-375 nm, giving flexibility for different inspection tasks and working distances. The green laser has a wavelength of 510~530 nm and is ideal for pointing, marking and guidance work without exceeding safety limits.

Operation is handled via a top-mounted slide switch and an M button. The slide switch controls on/off and brightness adjustment, while the M button is used to switch between white, UV and laser outputs, with press and hold giving direct access to the green laser.

The torch is powered by a built-in 1500 mAh Li-ion battery, which is recharged via the USB-C port. The four green LED indicators show charging progress and remaining power, while internal protection circuits guard against over-charge, over-discharge, short-circuit and overheating.

Lightweight, robust and IPX7 water resistant, the EDC17 EU also includes a detachable silicone nitride ceramic glass breaker for emergency use. Combining a powerful torch, multi-level UV light, and a precision Class 1 green laser, it’s a highly capable EDC tool ready for both professional and daily tasks.
