The Energizer ATEX head light is an intrinsically safe head torch for use in hazardous locations with an output of 130 lumens using a white LED.
Two modes of high and low are available, and are controlled with a single large easy press switch which is useful for when you're wearing gloves.
It is powered by three Energizer E92 or EN92 AAA alkaline batteries which are secure in the safety locking battery compartment that needs to be unscrewed to access. Never access the battery compartment whilst in a hazardous location.
The rotational head allows you to direct the light to where you require it the most and it can offer a maximum beam range of 45 metres in high mode.
The durable construction allows for 1 metre impact resistance, while the IP67 rating means it is fully dust and waterproof. The adjustable headband has a top strap for extra security and it gives a comfortable, non-slip fit. Four helmet clips are included to help hold the head torch in place when using a hard hat.

Good unit, large button can be felt with gloves on. Came with good, grippy strap and clip for hard hat. Went on the helmet no problem, where it will live.
