More information about the D26 2500 LED Torch

The Xtar D26 2500 is an updated version of the popular D26 1600 dive torch, now with a 2500 lumen white output on maximum setting and utilising a Cree XHP50.2 LED with a colour temperature of 6000 K.

It can work to a depth of 100 metres and uses a high transmittance lens combined with an upgraded reflector to produce a beam range of 320 metres, enabling you to see further in front to avoid marine life and also making it safer for diving.

Powered by two 26650 lithium-ion batteries (included) which can be easily recharged in the provided external FC2 battery charger. It features two bays so both batteries can be charged as the same time, and the charging lights above each battery display charging progress.

Four brightness levels are available and are useful in different underwater situations. The magnetic switch controls the outputs when in the unlocked position, with one press turning the light on and each press thereafter cycling through the brightness settings as follows; turbo, high, mid and low. Hold the switch for 1.5 seconds to turn the torch off.

To prevent accidental activation the torch can be placed in lockout mode by twisting the switch 90° to the left to face the locked padlock symbol. To exit the lockout mode simply twist the button 90° to the right so it is facing upwards towards the unlocked padlock symbol.

An LED power indicator just above the power switch lets you know when your battery is running low. Above 25% power the light will be green, between 5%-25% the light will go red and below 5% the red light will flash to remind you to charge the battery.

Mid: 700 lumens; 9 hours run-time
Low: 30 lumens; 72 hours run-time

Lab tested to ANSI standards using 2 x Xtar 5200 mAh 26650 lithium-ion batteries with 25° water cooling. Parameters may vary between torches, chargers, batteries and environments.
