Nitecore EDC33 Slim Rechargeable LED Torch

The EDC33 is a compact and versatile high performance rechargeable torch with a maximum output of 4000 lumens, featuring the Lumin Shield floodlight and Search spotlight outputs from a NiteLab UHI 20 MAX LED.

The UHi 20 MAX LED offers a small but high-intensive core which offers long-range coverage, extreme brightness and the flexibility to switch seamlessly between the flood and spot light, ensuring the EDC33 is perfect for a range of tasks.

The EDC33 features a built-in optical sensor which detects obstructions and automatically reduces the output to 300 lumens to protect the torch from overheating. Once the obstruction is removed the torch will return to the previous output. This function is only available in the high output and can be temporarily disabled by quickly half pressing the tail button once the torch is turned on.

The power button on the tail cap of the EDC33 turns the torch on or off with a full press. While on, half press the button to cycle through the outputs of ultralow, low, medium and high. Thanks to the memory function the torch will turn on in the last used output.

The EDC33 features a lumin shield floodlight which offers instant protection with a broad wall of light plus the search spotlight which features a 450 m beam range for long range coverage. For direct access while on or off, half press and hold for the search output and full press and hold for the lumin shield output. Release the button in either mode to return to the previous output, or if accessed from off the torch will turn off.

To prevent accidental activation, the EDC33 has two lockout modes. Lockout 1 is a half lockout mode which only allows access the the search and lumin shield outputs. Half press and hold the mode button to access the search output or full press and hold the mode button to access the lumin shield output, should you still need partial access to light in an emergency. This mode is activated while the torch is on by holding down the power button while sliding the lockout switch up, the lock icon can be seen below the lockout switch.

Lockout 2 is a full lockout mode and disables all output functions. It is accessed while the torch is off, simply slide the lockout switch up and the lock icon can be seen under the switch. To unlock the light from either lockout modes, slide the lockout switch back down.

The EDC33 is powered by a built-in 4000 mAh lithium-ion rechargeable battery which is recharged via the USB-C charging port located on the side of the torch. Rotate the dust cover and plug in the included USB-C cable at one end and plug the other end into a compatible USB power source. The power indicator will blink slowly before turning solid to indicate a full charge after approximately 2 hours. The torch can still be operated during charging, excluding the lumin shield and search outputs.

Remaining battery power is indicated while the torch is on, while off half press the tail button and the indicator will display (except when in lockout modes). Four indicators show 75-100%, three indicators show 50-75%, two indicators show 25-50% and one indicator shows 0-25% and the torch should be charger as soon as possible.

The advanced temperature regulation module allows the EDC33 to regulate its output and adapt to the ambient environment to maintain optimal performance.
