Unilite WCHT5 Wireless Charging Rechargeable Dual LED Head Torch

The WCHT5 is part of Unilite's wireless charging range and provides a maximum of 550 lumens of white light from the flood COB LED when in the highest setting.

The WCSGL or WCDBL wireless charging pads can be purchased separately and enable you to wireless charge the WCHT5 as well as a number of other Unilite products in the WC range without the need to plug cables directly into the torch. The torch can also be recharged via the USB-C port using the included cable, so no extra purchase is necessary to be able to recharge the device.

Three settings of high, mid and low are available from the flood COB LED and there is also a second spot Cree LED that sits in the centre of the COB LED to provide just one output of 450 lumens, with a beam range of 84 metres. Both LEDs offer a cool white output with a colour temperature of 6500 K.

A single button on top controls all the outputs and each press will cycle through in the order of spot, flood low, flood mid, flood high and off. If in any setting longer than 5 seconds the next press will turn the light off rather than cycling through to the next output, and the last used setting will be remembered next time the light is turned on.

The head can be tilted forwards within a 125° angle, so you can direct the light where needed, as well as reveal the back of the head torch fully which is the wireless charging point of the head torch. A non slip silicone lined headband keeps the WCHT5 in place, and it is lightweight at only 104 grams. Powered by the built-in 1500 mAh lithium polymer battery, the torch has a run-time of 4 hours on the highest setting.

Recharging the unit is fast and easy thanks to the direct USB-C charging or wireless charging. To charge directly simply insert the included cable into the USB-C port underside of the battery pack (with the torch turned off) and the other end into a USB-A power source with an output of up to 2 A. To show charging is in progress a green flashing LED on the front will illuminate and turn solid green to show charging is complete after approximately 3 hours when using a 2 A input.

If using the separately sold wireless charging pad, take the cable from the head torch and instead plug it into the USB-C port on the wireless charging pad and connect it to a USB-A power source with an output of up to 2 A. Then tilt the head torch to reveal the connection point on the back and place this onto the charging symbol on the charging pad (not included). To show charging is in progress a green flashing LED on the front will illuminate and turn solid green to show charging is complete after approximately 4 hours when using a 2 A input.

Water and dust resistant to IP65 standards, it can within stand heavy rainfall, and with shock resistance to IK07 standards it can withstand 2 metres impact resistance.
