Olight Warrior Mini 2 Rechargeable LED Torch

The Olight Warrior Mini 2 is an upgrade on the original, maintaining the dual switches, customised 3500 mAh battery and MMC3 charging cable, but now with new features such as a proximity sensor and carabiner style clip ring.

It features a maximum output of 1750 lumens, before dropping down to 500 lumens after 4 minutes to prevent the LED from overheating. It will run at 500 lumens for 3 hours, 26 minutes before dropping a final time to 200 lumens for 40 minutes.

As well as the active thermal management system that reduces the output when the temperature gets too hot, the Warrior Mini 2 also features a nifty proximity sensor that will automatically reduce the output if the head of the torch becomes too close to an object when it is in the higher settings so that the heat expelled from the torch doesn't cause any damage. If the side button is pressed when close to an object it will turn off the torch, or if the obstruction is there for longer that 60 seconds then the light will turn off.

Utilising a TIR optic lens, the Warrior Mini 2 provides better light quality with a smooth and balanced beam profile. It features the rugged design and dual switches of the M2R Pro combined with the slim compact design and 18650 battery of the Baton Pro, making it the perfect everyday tactical carry.

The included Olight 18650 3500 mAh 10 A high discharge tailored lithium-ion battery is specially designed and only this battery can be charged within the torch. The battery is recharged inside the torch using the included MCC3 magnetic charging cable.

Simply connect the magnet to the base of the torch and plug the USB end into a computer or suitable adaptor. The light on the cable will go red to show charging is in progress and turn green once charging is complete, a full charge takes approximately 3 hours and 30 minutes when using a 5 V 1.5 A input, otherwise charging may be slower.

Featuring five brightness levels and strobe, the torch is turned on and off with a single press of the side mounted push button. Select the brightness level, with the torch turned on, by holding the switch to cycle through low, mid and high in turn, whilst the moonlight mode of 1 lumen can be accessed directly when the torch is off by pressing and holding down the switch, or a single press if it is the last used memorised mode.

Quickly double pressing the side switch will enter and exit turbo mode, while three quick presses with the light on will activate the strobe mode. The memory function will remember the last mode used for moonlight, low, mid and high.

The redesigned tactical tail switch provides stronger magnetism and allows for easier operation while wearing gloves due to the raised button, but without compromising accidental activation thanks to the three raised struts that not only prevent it easily turning on but also allow for tail stand capability. The tail switch will access constant with quick half or full presses, or momentary with a full or half press and hold.

The tactical tail switch is a quiet press button with minimal noise for tactical purposes and can be used in two modes; either configuration 1 or configuration 2. The torch default setting is configuration 1 and to switch to configuration 2 you deep press and hold the tail switch then single press the side switch. In Configuration 1 the tail switch will provide mid output with a half press or turbo output with a full press, and can provide momentary operation by holding down the button either half or fully. Configuration 2 will provide turbo output with a half press or strobe with a full press.

There is a battery level indicator built into the side switch that lets you know when the battery needs charging. A green light indicates above 60% power, a orange light indicates 10% - 60 % power a red light indicates 10% - 5% power and a red flashing light indicates less than 5% power and that the torch needs to be charged.

A handy lockout function prevents the torch from being accidentally activated and is accessed by pressing and holding the switch for 2 seconds to lock it (it will enter moonlight mode first and then lockout) and the same again will unlock it. The Warrior Mini 2 also features a dual purpose magnetic tail cap, so you can use it as a hands-free work light on magnetic surfaces, and attach it securely to the included charging cable.

The innovative two way pocket clip makes it easy to carry the Warrior Mini 2 on clothing, and what's more it comes supplied with a circular carabiner that attaches to the rear tail clip allowing for easy carry on a backpack zip or similar. A lanyard is also included and can only be attached the the slot on the rear tail clip.

Please note: The carabiner is not designed for climbing and is for torch attachment only, and it should be removed when the torch is stowed to prevent it short circuiting on the magnetic tail cap. Ensure the torch is stowed away from magnetic objects and is placed in lockout mode for transport and storage. ALWAYS fully read the manual before use.
