Olight S2R Baton II Rechargeable LED Torch

The Olight S2R Baton II is an upgraded version of the popular S2R Baton, now with a 5 mm shorter body for a more compact design and also a higher maximum output of 1150 lumens, before dropping down to 400 lumens after 2 minutes to prevent the LED from overheating.

The included Olight 18650 3200 mAh tailored lithium-ion battery is specially designed and only this battery and the 3500 mAh equivalent can be charged within the torch. The battery is recharged inside the torch using the included magnetic charging cable. Simply connect the magnet to the base of the S1R II and plug the USB end into a computer or suitable adaptor. The light on the cable will go red to show charging is in progress and turn green once charging is complete, a full charge takes approximately 4 hours and 30 minutes.

The charger cable design has been improved and the MCC now charges at a faster speed of 1 A, but it is still compatible for use with the same products that can be charged with the MCC.

A battery level indicator built into the side switch lets you know when the battery needs charging. A green light indicates above 70% power, a yellow light indicates 15% - 70 % power and a red light indicates less than 15% power and that the torch needs to be charged.

Utilising a Luminus SST-40 cool white LED and second generation TIR optic lens, the beam is pushed to a new level with unmatched clarity and produces a wide, balanced hot spot with a maximum beam distance of 135 metres.

Featuring five brightness levels and strobe, the torch is turned on and off with a single press of the side mounted push button. Select the brightness level, with the torch turned on, by holding the switch to cycle through low, mid and high in turn, whilst the moonlight mode of 0.5 lumens can be accessed directly when the torch is off by pressing and holding down the switch.

Quickly double pressing the switch will enter turbo mode and three quick presses will activate the strobe mode. The memory function will remember the last mode used for moonlight, low, mid and high. Turbo mode will be remembered as high mode.

The S2R II contains two timer settings; long timer (9 minutes) and short timer (3 minutes). Double click and hold the side switch while the light is on to enter this setting. One blink indicates the 3 minutes mode, and two blinks indicates the 9 minutes mode.

A handy lockout function prevents the torch from being accidentally activated and is accessed by pressing and holding the switch for 2 seconds to lock it and the same again will unlock it. The S2R II also features a dual purpose magnetic tail cap, so you can use it as a hands-free work light, and attach it securely to the included charging cable.

The innovative two way pocket clip makes it easy to carry the S2R II on clothing, and what's more it comes supplied with a blue one attached to the torch and a spare black one, so you can change it up as and when you like.

Please note: *The turbo setting after 2 minutes run-time will decrease to 400 lumens to protect the LED from overheating.
