Olight Baton Pro Rechargeable LED Torch

The Olight Baton Pro is th latest edition to the Baton series, now with a higher maximum output of 2000 lumens, before dropping down to 600 lumens after 1 minute to prevent the LED from overheating.

The included Olight 18650 3500 mAh 10 A high discharge tailored lithium-ion battery is specially designed and only this battery can be charged within the torch. The battery is recharged inside the torch using the included magnetic charging cable. Simply connect the magnet to the base of the Baton Pro and plug the USB end into a computer or suitable adaptor. The light on the cable will go red to show charging is in progress and turn green once charging is complete, a full charge takes approximately 4 hours and 30 minutes.

Two CR123A non-rechargeable lithium metal batteries can be used in an emergency as a backup, but will not reach the turbo output. Never attempt to charge the torch with CR123A batteries inside.

Utilising a cool white LED with an 18 mm diameter TIR lens, which is 28% larger than that of the previous generation, the Baton Pro provides better light quality with a soft and balanced beam and a broader wide hotspot.

Featuring five brightness levels and strobe, the torch is turned on and off with a single press of the side mounted push button. Select the brightness level, with the torch turned on, by holding the switch to cycle through low, mid and high in turn, whilst the moonlight mode of 5 lumens can be accessed directly when the torch is off by pressing and holding down the switch.

Quickly double pressing the switch will enter turbo mode and three quick presses with the light on will activate the strobe mode. The memory function will remember the last mode used for moonlight, low, mid and high. Turbo mode will be remembered as high mode.

The Baton Pro contains two timer settings; long timer (9 minutes) and short timer (3 minutes). Double click and hold the side switch while the light is on to enter this setting. One blink indicates the 3 minutes mode, and two blinks indicates the 9 minutes mode. A battery power indicator light is built into the switch and will display green, orange or red depending on the charge.

A handy lockout function prevents the torch from being accidentally activated and is accessed by pressing and holding the switch for 2 seconds to lock it (it will enter moonlight mode first and then lockout) and the same again will unlock it. The Baton Pro also features a dual purpose magnetic tail cap, so you can use it as a hands-free work light, and attach it securely to the included charging cable.

The innovative two way pocket clip makes it easy to carry the Baton Pro on clothing, and what's more it comes supplied with a blue one attached to the torch for that added style.

The above results are based on ANSI/NEMA FL1-2009 standard and are tested using the included battery.
