The Blue Light version of the popular Nitecore TUBE features an output of 4 lumens of blue light.
Blue light is good for a number of things including hunting as it makes blood stand out in the dark, it can also be used in industrial applications such as checking for oil leaks as grease shows up dark under blue light. Fishing is another good use for blue light as the fish are less sensitive to this colour and it creates less glare than white light when reflected off the water.
Constructed from durable polycarbonate materials, the Nitecore TUBE BL has a built-in rechargeable battery that is charged via the micro USB port on the side of the body using a Micro USB cable (cable not included).
The blue power indicator will illuminate during charging and go out when when charging has completed. The auto charging termination feature will also stop the TUBE GL from charging once the battery is fully charged.
The single switch turns the light on/off and also has a lockout mode to prevent accidental operation which is activated by pressing and holding the button for three seconds.
The TUBE BL is an extremely lightweight and compact torch, which is perfect for attaching to a set of keys.
